Starting her solo career in 2021, Lucia Lu explored genre-fluid DJ sets as a process of searching — tracing her musical roots between the African diaspora and the German club scene, moving through house and techno without fixed boundaries. In 2025, this exploration crystallized into a clear artistic shift. Leaving genre fluidity behind, she now dedicates herself fully to techno, drawing inspiration from the pioneering spirit of Detroit while translating it into a contemporary, driving club language. Her sets are focused, hypnotic and intentional — rooted in history, built for the floor.
