Expreso Indochina (Fernando Lopez) uses the modular synth, tape loops and its classical music influences, as well as musique concréte, noise and minimalism, to explore unknown sonic escapes. Formed as a Clarinet player in Venezuela its love for electronic music and synths started at a young age listening to progressive rock music (YES, King Crimson, Rick Wakeman, ELP) and playing in a rock music band called Sur Solar. After coming to Europe, and establishing in Barcelona, came to the ground of modular synthesizers and started producing music with an Eurorack system also developing a taste for the improvisation that the system is capable of. Started playing live in 2023 by playing at friends parties and in 2024 had its first live gigs.
