DJ LUMIERE Dj Lumiere got influenced by house music around the year 1994 and he started actively performing by 1996. In the next three years there came regular club residencies at Radost FX (Atmospheric) and Mecca (Tick-Tack), followed by dj gigs around the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2000 he was invited to Paris by the Open House booking agency and during his three years in France he played at clubs such as Elysée Montmartre (Paris), laEnfer (Paris), Follies Pigalles (Paris), and Nautilus (Bordeaux). At the invitation from Dj Sass he also performed at the renowned deep-house night club Robert Johnson in Frankfurt. Other notable international gigs include Piekarnia club in Warsaw, Poland, and Locus club in Sweden. He has played with artists such as Maceo Plex, Claptone, Rasoul, Miguel Migs, Lisa Shaw, King Britt, Josh Wink, Dixon, and Charles Webster, as well as Felix da Housecat, Bob Sinclair, Pete Heller, Doc Martin, Ben Watt, and many others. He has also supported many bands, including Stereo MC's, Deep Dish, Jazzanova, Circulation, Tortured Soul, and more. In 2001, he also began his career as a producer and his first single Good-bye Illusions was released on the Defected label and featured in the top charts of Funk D'Void, Pete Moss, and Jef K. From 2009 until present he is the resident of Prague's Buddha Bar where he runs the successful night Room. For a number of years, he has also been collaborating on prominent fashion shows by the likes of Versace, Oscar De La Renta, Nina Ricci, Bvlgari, Fendi, Cavalli, Dolce&Gabbana, and Prada, as well as fashion events including Prague Fashion Weekend 2010, Prague Fashion Weekend 2011, etc.
