Also known as baby g, they are the curator of the event series b:3tter irl and the host of ◦key/sync• on Echobox Radio. They began playing as a way to process competing emotions, translating what words couldn’t hold into deeply transcendental sets. With a sharp eye for the creative overall picture and a richly stimulating sound palette, baby ganoush weaves dark electronics with glittering beams of light. Shaped by their contrasting Swedish and Lebanese roots, their sound is textured, nostalgic, and futurist — driven by heavily pulsating bass and melodic layers that fully encapsulates the room. Moving fluidly across ambient, breaks, trance, trap, jungle, dubstep, and IDM, their sets fold unlimited genres into sensorial, euphoric, and percussive narratives of tension and release — cohesive yet unpredictable. A key presence in Amsterdam’s nightlife scene, they have played at spaces such as Garage Noord and Kanaal40, and for initiatives including Lente Kabinet, ADE, Sonic Acts, Nyege Nyege, Eastern Margins, Pyxls, Spielraum, Nawafiz, Transatlantic, Soulfeeder, murmur, corecore, and kwia in Berlin. Through heartfelt performances that are as introspective as they are impactful, baby ganoush aims to open portals to warmer worlds — sparking intimacy, connection, and release on the dancefloor.
