Throughout my life I explored music. It came naturally to listen to a variety of genres and artists from all over the world and study the impact it had on my emotions. I was a patient zero in my own little research. I became really motivated in DJing simply because I wanted to see how music impacts others, and how I can tailor that to increase the positive effects. I considered it an expansion of my “experiment” to new horizons. The more I advanced in my craft the more I uncovered, especially when often putting myself in front of difficult crowds, crowds that apparently not share a similar musical taste. Those situations really enabled my creativity as a DJ and helped me elevate more and more. I strongly believe I reached a level above me peers from this point of view, backing up this statement with the constant positive feedback I get from listeners. I strive to deliver an experience for the crowd and not just play songs that I personally enjoy. For that reason I usually bring a broader selection of music that spans between a variety of connected genres. The versatility I mention above is what really gave birth to ‘7 Levels’. It associates a set I play with a game formed of multiple levels, varying sometimes in intensity, complexity and variety. This is the persona I created when I decided that the experimental phase of my DJ journey was over, and I could niche myself on electronic genres that I am the most passionate about. Adding my genre passion to the mix gave birth to some special performances, and hopefully will continue to do so.
