About this event

Your Love returns to Berlin on the 10th of July with a line up which we are extremely happy about and proud of.

The return of Lil Louis & our very first booking with Dominican - American talent, Toribio.

LIL LOUIS

Pioneer, Icon, Mogul, God Father, the Enigma and Renaissance man are all words that describe Louis Burns a/k/a Lil Louis. An international Artist, Producer, Songwriter, DJ, Author and Director, Lil Louis is credited as being the Founding Father.

His best-known song, "French Kiss", spent two weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1989

It crossed over to some pop radio stations and climbed to No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was a big success throughout Europe, reaching No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart, despite being banned by the BBC, and in Germany, and No. 1 in the Netherlands .

He is responsible for further important tracks for the movement . Tracks such as ‘’Club Lonely ‘ Frequency’ , ‘The Original Video Clash ‘ , ‘Fable’ ‘ ‘Give it Up’ ‘Blackout’ and many many more

TORIBIO

Toribio (Cesár Toribio) is a Dominican-American musician, DJ, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. A Berklee College of Music graduate, he seamlessly weaves jazz, soul, house, and Afro-Latin sounds into transformative sets. He is the bandleader for the live house fusion band Conclave and the mastermind behind NYC's vibrant B.D.A. (Bring Dat Ass) parties.

He runs the Public Service NYC block parties, curating community-focused spaces where music becomes an uplifting experience, alongside Dj Mickey Pere

We will host a special performance by AFROHOMO

Afrohomo is the moniker of Kieron Jina, a multidisciplinary queer artist, choreographer and DJ based between South Africa and Europe. Their boundary-pushing work explores Afrofuturism, migration and the intersection of Indigenous cultural practices and emerging technologies .

As per usual your hosts Lakuti & Tama Sumo will also contribute with dj sets .
