Herodot
Dj, producer, label owner, sound engineer and one of Bucharest's underground most talented secret weapons, Herodot is no stranger to the clubbing scene. He started mixing many years ago while still a teenager and since then he has become one of the respected Romanian DJs among both artists and the audience. Best known for keeping the party going for endless hours until nobody can dance anymore, Herodot has proven his creativity not only behind the decks, but also as a producer. It's been two years since he launched Unanim Records with his friend Piticu and just recently signed his first EP on the label. Even though Duo EP is his first release, it is impossible to not have heard one of his unreleased tracks if you're going to the right parties.

Obreja.
Obreja’s initial experience with the minimal genre was upon his arrival in the UK, in 2018, a movement and a feeling, which became engrained in his heart, and a sound which would soon begin to form the future of this talented creators path. Obreja was determined to merge this sound and thart of all his inspiration over the years, into an imprint of his own, and without a doubt he succeeded, by fusing the sounds of his hip hop immersed youth with this new generations re-emerging minimal era. Obreja worked hard for his first years in the UK to save, and in 2020 he bought his first DJ set up, and took on a mission to learn something new every day. It was clear within a very short time that this immense young talent held music as a second nature in his being, before long he would begin to play across London, as well as Birmingham, and within months his sets became a welcome force back home too, in Cluj Napoca, Bacau and Craiova in Romania. Just a few years on to this day, his sets have been admired by the masses of London’s selective crowds at the likes of Orange Yard,, 93 Feet East, E1, The Goose, Starlane to name just a few, as well as having presented his journey back home in Romania at the likes of Spatiu Tehnic, Boris Club, The 20's and more. Just a few years on to this day, his sets have been admired by the masses of London’s selective crowds at the likes of Orange Yard,, 93 Feet East, E1, The Goose, Starlane to name just a few, as well as having presented his journey back home in Romania at the likes of Spatiu Tehnic, Boris Club, The 20's and more… Obreja’s determination to bring something new to the table didn’t stop at playing music, he went on within a year to presenting his own events alongside friends in the industry here in London, successfully building a positive and respected scene, holding successful events and series of musical moments across London. When describing his journey and sound, Obreja reflects on his sonic mastery as a trip. One we can confirm is consistently a true journey embarking into the mesmerising and unpredictable realms through dark minimal tones, evolving into addictive complex rhythms and mesmerising micro-minimal sounds. As a producer, Obreja is already working on his primary creations, highly anticipated works which we are incredibly excited to unleash to the world later this year. His sound is born of an obsession of the aforementioned varying sounds from different sources and scenes and genres, inspirations from his early years of hip hop, and all that has inspired him in between. Obreja’s productions are journeys perfectly descriptive of his immeasurable creative mind, for those who know him will agree his mind is always in the music, and not only this, but in the sound surrounding his life at all times, and in this same way he reflects his works on what he experiences in life, moulding into his music, sounds from movies, from nature, from industrial pockets of sounds he captured in the city, and so much more, all infused into a delightful melting pot to create unique groovy pieces of art infused with abstracted elements and inevitably captivating beats. Without a doubt Obreja is set to make some seriously welcome noise on the scene in the coming years and we are truly honoured to welcome him to our family both on the musical front and behind the scenes on our team at Suena Agency.
