Both as a DJ and producer, he moves fluidly between driving, functional techno and more stripped-back, atmospheric territory, always with a strong sense of control and refinement. Through acclaimed releases, immersive DJ sets and his influential Non Series imprint, Psyk has built a singular artistic identity rooted in subtle power and meticulous craftsmanship. Constantly evolving yet unmistakably his own, his approach continues to shape the deeper edges of modern techno. On Saturday, June 6th Psyk helms the ROBUS floor for XTRUDE and is joined by Laure Croft, ASEC live, and more while on the SUMME floor we host Jensen Interceptor, Amor Satyr, and Coco Cobra. ASEC
Though his roots trace back to Manchester's underground scene, he has masterfully redefined the interplay between building sonic tension and atmospheric release. His high-intensity tracks create irresistible momentum on the dance floor—a bold fusion of musical vision, tradition and innovation. Central to ASEC's distinct identity is his modular live set—a storytelling journey that showcases his expansive musical vision. Through a blend of dark textures and idiosyncratic melodies, ASEC offers a live performance that goes beyond the conventional, as demonstrated in his Boiler Room debut last year. A music technology innovator, ASEC has been instrumental in advancing the landscape of electronic music production, particularly through his leading contributions to Ableton Live. Far from a mere technical endeavor, this work has allowed him to push electronic music production and live performance into uncharted territories, manifesting a skill set and sound palette unparalleled in the techno landscape. ASEC's recent releases include a full-length EP on Counterchange Recordings titled 'Trauma Bond,' and a vinyl debut on Ellen Allien’s BPitch. His discography also features exclusive releases on his own label, the most recent of which includes remixes from Kwartz (Pole Group) and Temudo (Klockworks). ASEC's tracks have also been featured on household name labels such as Planet X and MORD. hello: contact@asecmusic.com book: maria@sourceartists.net
Laure Croft
Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’. When behind the decks she takes approach for the moment of release in the most powerful dancefloor experiences, when clothes come off and the energy reaches fever pitch. This sensual attitude manifests in the way she plays – a constant rush of high-intensity techno with little respite as she rips through a collection which spans the mid 90s to the mid 00s. She’s no vinyl elitist, but in touching a pair of Technics she found an internal excitement which was lacking from CDJs, where the tension around the mix and the story embedded in the grooves of a record feed into the energy of the party. She glides through her record bag after ceaseless hours of digging and selecting with an instinctive code which defines her unique sound. As her identity as a DJ takes an upwards curve, Laure views her path as a quest to continually find the tracks which fit her particular creative vision, pulling together the pieces of the puzzle from decades of techno culture carved into a near-infinite pool of uptempo, forward-facing machine music. As a woman in a male-dominated scene, she also pushes for a more inclusive climate on all regards, and considers her ever-increasing visibility an opportunity to inspire and enact positive change. With her husky Roxy (named after one of the first queer underground music clubs in Amsterdam) by her side, she holds true to techno’s inherent futurism by creating something new and ever-evolving from the already existing music she discovers and blends. The end result is a sound which celebrates honesty and integrity in the face of modern life’s rampant, paper-thin perfectionism.
Mirella Kroes
Mirella tends to explore the trippier, mental side of electronic music in her sets that echo a longing for the mysterious. Space is key in her meticulously crafted organic builds that allow for time to appreciate the space between sounds and the crispy little details that keep it fresh. If you want to experience her musical vision take a plunge and submerge yourself in warm space and deep sounds at Motiv, the clubnight she runs in Amsterdam. Hailing from the north of Holland, Mirella started buying records with her older brother who taught her how to mix at the age of 19. Tough loop oriented techno was the soundtrack to the local rave scene at the turn of centuries that fostered her career. Nowadays she prefers a combination of hypnotic and transcendental music with the occasional old school dance floor driver in between. She has over ten years experience and is a regular in Dutch and European clubs. Over the years she played in Doornroosje, Trouw, Studio 80, and at festivals such as Awakenings. She held a residency in the now closed Cruquiusgilde, a former warehouse in Amsterdam known for its raw and intimate setting.
Psyk
Psyk is a solid staple of the current techno scene and doesn't seem to have gone off course since his precocious artistic ascension. His sets in the best clubs all over the world have helped crystallize his DJ talents making him one of the most interesting DJs on the circuit and an influent figure in a whole generation. Psyk's singularity and maturity are constantly present in his music. The versatility who characterizes his sets are also shown in his productions, from "Arcade" or "Eclipse"´s entraining feverish techno, his remix for Planetary Assault System´s track Twelve to hypnotic and deeper cuts like Lowdown for Tresor or his eps on Non Series and Semantica. In 2014 his widely acclaimed debut album "Time Foundation" is released on Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver imprint and in 2019 his second album "A Moment Before" on Tresor records, same year that one of the most played EPs of the year "Natural Causes". This time in collaboration with the Spanish producer Reeko on his label Mental Disorder. In 2022 after a long collaboration during lockdown with Oscar Mulero, a new project from both under the alias "Second Skin" sees the light under James Ruskin´s infamous Blueprint Records. Like a conscientious artisan, Psyk approaches his productions with care, adding somber power and deepness through subtle touches, a process which has made him the subject of constant praise from illustrious artistic figures, be it through his offerings under the patronage of emblematic figures like Luke Slater, Len Faki, DVS1 stronghold labels Semantica and Tresor or even through his own label Non Series under his Maan alter-ego. Since its inception in 2011, Non Series has released music by strings of prominent artists from the likes of Dj Nobu, Architectural, Neel, Blawan, Luigi Tozzi, Function, Rrose... and has established itself as a reference in the Techno scene. By developing, refining and purifying his sets, Psyk is focusing all his efforts on the concretization of the ideas that agitate his mind.
