DJ 1morning is part of a new wave of artists reconnecting techno with its groove-led foundations. Emerging from Los Angeles’ warehouse circuit, he built a reputation through vinyl-only sets that channel the spirit of ’90s techno while remaining firmly rooted in the present. His approach is direct, soulful and deeply dancefloor-focused, blending rugged rhythms, hypnotic grooves and an instinctive sense of momentum. Alongside a growing catalogue of productions circulating among discerning selectors, his rise has taken him from the U.S. underground to some of Europe’s most respected stages. Rooted in authenticity rather than trends, DJ 1morning’s sound embodies techno at its most timeless, functional and emotionally charged. On Saturday, July 18th, 1morning returns to the compound making an appearance on the OPAN floor alongside Nastia and Darwin. The ROBUS floor sees Kangding Ray, Tarkno and more and SUMME features DJ Northern, Erna and more.
