Nora En Pure

Nora En Pure is the Deep House & Indie Dance music sensation that is rippling through the sonic sphere with her beautiful blend of electronic beats. A core member of the Helvetic Nerds group, Nora leads listeners out of the darker realms of Deep House with intricate instrumentals and enlightening melodies. Every track she gets her hands on turns to gold and every performance she gives leaves the audience in awe. Moving far away from her home at an early age to Zürich, Switzerland, Daniela found herself longing to touch base with her South African roots. Growing up listening to classical music and playing the flute and piano, she began creating her own electronic beats. 2009 saw the beginnings of her musical career, releasing her debut tracks via the Enormous Tunes and Tonkenish imprints. Her breakthrough track ‘Come With Me’ catapulted her into the spotlight in 2013. Sparking wide interest in her sound, the track received extensive support from industry tastemakers and captivated a large and ever-growing legion of fans. Collaborating with the likes of Wretch 32, Aston Shuffle, Adrian Lux and Klingande, Nora En Pure infiltrated herself into the depths of the dance music world. Gracing the decks of some of the most revered dance music spots on the planet, Nora has played sets at Ultra Music Festival Miami, Mysteryland USA, Webster Hall NYC and Privilege Ibiza, to name a few. Her remarkable release schedule introduced an array of fan favorites, including her ‘Saltwater (2015 Rework)’, her Hype Machine #1 edit of Australian production trio RÜFÜS’ ‘You Were Right’ and her bouncy rendition of Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank’s ‘Shades Of Grey’. Her two-track ‘Morning Dew’ EP featured the hauntingly beautiful title track, which was selected as Pete Tong’s first Essential New Tune of the year in his BBC Radio 1 show. Meeting many career milestones over the past two years, 2016 saw Daniela deliver her breathtaking BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, tour relentlessly to bring her scintillating sound to as many countries as humanly possible and complete her first Ibiza residency at the world’s largest club, Privilege Ibiza. In 2017 she delivered a long list of sensational releases, including her diverse 4-track ‘Conquer Yosemite’ EP, funk-driven cuts ‘Waves’ and ‘Fever’, and touching creations ‘Tears In Your Eyes’ and ‘Trailblazer’. Making her debut at Coachella and being the only female artist to play Tomorrowland’s Mainstage Daybreak Session, she closed the year on an all-time high. With her Purified brand going from strength to strength in 2018, Nora landed her own weekly radio show on SiriusXM Chill and hosted her first Purified events in Miami, San Francisco, New York and Zürich. Touring the world over, Daniela won crowds over at the likes of Ultra Music Festival’s 20th Anniversary event, both weekends of Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Panorama Festival NYC and many more iconic stages. Drawing fans in with stunning releases including Sphinx, the eclectic Don’t Look Back EP and the majestic Polynesia EP, Daniela garnered over 1.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. With her Polynesia EP entering the Billboard Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart at #14, Nora En Pure has closed the year with a bang. Daniela continues to dominate in 2019, receiving two nominations in the IDMA Awards for Best Female Artist (House) and Best Podcast/Radio Show for Purified. Being announced as one Wynn Las Vegas Resident DJs and making her highly anticipated return to ULTRA Music Festival & Coachella, Nora continues to prove her indomitable work ethic and demonstrates why she has been crowned the Queen of Deep House. With two Purified events already scheduled in Miami for Miami Music Week and New York and her first release of the year ‘We Found Love’ working its magic all over the globe, 2019 is sizing up to be Nora En Pure’s biggest year-to-date.

Victor Ruiz

With his deeply resonant appreciation for music, Victor Ruiz has established himself as a dynamic selector with the ability to craft compelling sets full of vigor and vibrancy. Born in Brazil and currently based in Lisbon, he has been a constant presence on the world stage since 2013 and is widely regarded for his mesmerizing DJ performances, appearing at a long list of influential events. In the studio he is equally adept, releasing a steady flow of first-rate techno productions all of which encapsulate his distinct flair for musicality and energy. Victor is also the founder of Volta Records, his fledgling imprint, which is already picking up widespread support from many of techno’s most prominent figures. Hard working, innately talented and driven by his deep-rooted passion, Victor Ruiz is the product of a lifetime dedicated to music. From his brother’s love for heavy metal to being gifted a bass guitar at the age of nine, Victor’s musical roots go deep. In his late teens he quit formal education to study electronic music production when he reached university. Numerous influences shaped his early vision (Daft Punk, MTV, Fruity Loops…) and equipped him with the skills to progress, leading to his first DJ gigs. Without decks at home to practice on, the ambitious selector learned to DJ ‘in-the-field’ at clubs, gaining real-world experience from the get go and refining his craft in often very challenging situations. Victor’s profile in Brazil exploded when he produced a big hit and his upwards trajectory really began to kick in. By 2009 his success led to bookings at many of the country’s biggest festivals, including Lollapalooza Brazil, Tribaltech, Tribe Festival, XXXperience Festival and Kaballah Festival with regular gigs at venues like Clash Club. Through these appearances he connected with numerous international selectors and started getting his music out to a wider audience. Early supporters included Stephan Bodzin and Hernan Cattaneo. In 2013 his first European trip came through; a two-week tour including shows in Germany and Norway. This pivotal booking changed the course of his life, opening his eyes to Europe’s progressive club culture. Over the next five years his international profile boomed and he started picking up more bookings in Europe than he was in Brazil. A move to Berlin in 2018 was the next logical step, followed by a period in Amsterdam, back to Berlin and finally Lisbon. The Portuguese capital has provided a nourishing environment for Victor to settle and enjoy warmer climes, great for mood, creativity and relaxation. Key ingredients for any artist who tours on a regular basis. During the global pandemic of 2020 Victor took positive steps to counter the lack of work, setting up the Victor Ruiz Masterclass. Through his endeavors he connected with a broad range of artists, from newcomers to more experienced producers, who all wanted guidance. This shift into teaching sparked the birth of his label, Volta Records. A call out to his network of creatives resulted in a two-hour mix, which was full of so much good music, Victor was inspired to realize an ambition he’d had for a decade - to launch his own outlet. Since its launch in October 2022, the label has already been home to chart-topping releases with Andata’s ‘Play Hard’ flying high on the Beatport charts, plus Victor’s own ‘Touch The Darkness’ also achieving a Top 10 spot and staying there for several months. In keeping with the theme of Victor’s work to help others, there are three key pillars at the foundation of Volta: Music, Charity and Community. This themes is embodied in the name of the label itself, Volta. Portuguese for “Give Back” and de volta means circular, representing the ethos of the label perfectly - giving back to the culture that has blessed Victor with his dream life, and nurturing a cyclical process of creativity between his crew of artists. From his base in Europe, Victor has been able to explore the globe with a packed diary of gigs all over the world from New Zealand to Israel, Turkey to the USA, Portugal, Denmark and Argentina. Appearances at globally-renowned festivals such as Tomorrowland and Boom demonstrate his high profile, while demand in North America means he is crossing the Atlantic on a regular basis. Inspired by the people he meets, and plays to, every single week, the Brazilian artist appreciates the simple things in life which is reflected in an unfussy approach to his craft. A consummate professional, Victor delivers powerful performances with every show, aiming to challenge and entertain the dance floor in equal measure. Thanks to his formative years, where he learned everything about DJing through first-hand experience, Victor displays a level of skill, dynamism and gut instinct that is innate. In the studio, his playful attitude has led to a series of notable releases on labels including Drumcode, Noir Music, Suara, Senso Sounds and many more, taking pride of place alongside his exceptional collection of edits - including The Prodigy’s ‘Breathe’ and Depeche Mode’s classic ‘Everything Counts’. The sound he creates is a mix of all his influences; with his distinctive musicianship comprising basslines and melodies that are directly influenced by all the music he listens to - most of which is not techno, by the way. His unique productions are part of his identity, intrinsically connected to who he is. If you want to know Victor Ruiz more intimately, listen to his music and you’ll discover what this talented artist is all about.

Phoebe (1)

Anyone tuned into the vibrant club scene in Lisbon—not just what the media highlights—inevitably crosses paths with Phoebe. As the visionary founder of Troublemaker Records, the driving force behind Rádio Quântica, a key programmer for festivals like Ano 0 and Rama em Flor, and a resident DJ at mina, Phoebe is a cornerstone of the city's artistic landscape, also playing a pivotal role in Planeta Manas. Amidst this whirlwind of activity, it's astounding how Phoebe crafts a uniquely transformative musical experience, constantly evolving and refusing to be confined by rigid genre expectations. The latest EP from Discos Extends—joining a stellar lineup that includes Diogo, Rabumazda, Luar Domatrix, and V i L—brings an electrifying urgency, reflecting a relentless quest for that elusive spark that brightens our everyday chaos. "Sempre a Correr" follows Phoebe's summer 2021 EP on Rotten Fresh, dubbed “if i was simple in the mind, everything would be fine.” This work delivered a cathartic experience that melded the chaotic intensity of shoegaze with ambient textures, all while keeping the dance floor vibes alive and pulsing. Since then, Phoebe has shown no signs of slowing down. Late 2021 saw the launch of the “Sweet Love Making” label with BLEID, debuting with the split “Love is patient, love is kind, love will make you lose your mind” (2021). This release featured tracks like “Marrazes” and “Causeway Bay,” which deliver exhilarating beats that hit you like a powerful punch. Throughout 2022, a series of tracks including “Club Tool,” “Down to Whatever,” “Estou Perdido,” and “K-LUBE 01/02” continued to map Phoebe's musical evolution, each piece adding to this ever-expanding puzzle—thankfully, one that remains unfinished. Bruno Gonçalves, aka Phoebe, embodies an unstoppable energy, and his new album is a testament to the relentless drive that characterizes his artistry.
