Gemeinsam mit dem DJ-Kollektiv Frame geht es bei diesem Showcase aufs Wasser - und damit in Wellenklangs erste offizielle Indie-Dance-Edition.
Frame schafft eine besondere Plattform für Integration und Sichtbarkeit innerhalb der elektronischen Musikszene und hat mit eigenen Veranstaltungen bereits viel Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gezogen. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, das Kollektiv gemeinsam mit uns auf die Elbe zu bringen.

If you‘ve ever danced to their music, you know the sweat is dripping from the ceiling. In the last seven years, the two have already performed beyond the Hamburg borders for example in Netherlands, Denmark and at various festivals such as Habitat Festival, Feel Festival and MS Dockville.
Alexej
Alexej is a DJ from Hamburg, known for his blend of groove, melody, and emotion. His sets drift between Indie Dance, Tech House, and Dance Pop — always rhythmic, atmospheric, and connected to the moment. Twelve years in nightlife shaped his sound long before he ever touched the decks. Working as a bartender, he spent countless nights close to the pulse of the dancefloor — watching how energy builds, how people move, and how music transforms a space. Those years behind the bar became his quiet education in rhythm, flow, and feeling. After burning out from the constant motion of nightlife, Alexej made the decision to slow down and finally follow what had always been at his core: music. In 2023, he began DJing, exploring different genres until he found his home in Indie Dance — where emotional depth meets driving rhythm. Since then, he’s become a steady presence in Hamburg’s electronic scene, playing at venues like Frau Holle, DOT Club, Pooca Bar, Taugenichtsbar, Beat Boutique, Nikki Tiger, and Fundbureau. He also performs for Jägermeister as part of their national DJ roster, bringing his sound to stages across Germany. In 2025, he launched his own event series FRAME — a night built around Indie Dance and B2B sets that focus on connection, atmosphere, and creative freedom. From that vision grew the Frame Collective, a community of DJs, artists, and friends pushing forward a shared idea of groove, melody, and emotional energy on the dancefloor. Alexej’s sound is instinctive and human — built on groove, emotion, and trust in the moment. His sets aren’t designed; they’re lived — deep, driving, and sincere.
