About this event
A one-of-a-kind evening for fans of post-punk sounds — on June 7, three acts will perform at Warsaw’s Hydrozagadka club:
VIŠNIOVY TORT (post-punk / shoegaze / industrial / dub) Founded in Minsk in 2014, the project earned cult status within the Belarusian underground scene. Since recording their first album in 2016, they have undergone numerous transformations, dedicating themselves to musical exploration and genre experimentation. After reactivating in Poland, višniovy tort released several EPs and is currently putting the finishing touches on their second full-length album.
PUSTO (post-punk / new wave) The band originated in Vilnius, where it was formed in 2020. Pusto draws inspiration from the rock underground of the ’80s and ’90s, electronic music, and nostalgic synthesizer sounds. Their music also reflects themes of life in post-Soviet cities. They have performed across the Baltic states as well as in the USA. In May 2025, they released their new album Amnesia, which has been played on Lithuanian radio station LRT Opus.
KORUS (post-punk / new wave) A duo from Poznań representing a fresh take on post-punk and new wave. If their sound had to be described in adjectives, it would be energetic bass guitar, motorik drum machines, and vocals resonating like mantras. The band’s beginnings date back to 2019, and since then they have released three EPs, several singles, and continue to work on new material. Their inspirations include films by Takeshi Kitano, hauntology, burning skeletons, and reminiscences.
