Veta Festival, Barruelo de Santullán

About this event

Veta 2026 is an underground electronic music festival set in a former mining site in Barruelo de Santullán, northern Spain. After a sold-out first edition, the festival returns with a carefully curated programme focused on techno, live performances, and exploratory electronic music.

Veta brings together internationally respected artists and national talent, combining DJ sets and live acts that move beyond techno as a single form, embracing deep, mental, broken and experimental approaches to club music. Sound design and technical precision are central to the experience, with a strong focus on immersive audio and lighting that respect the industrial and natural surroundings.

More than a music event, Veta is a community-driven project rooted in local collaboration, sustainability and cultural context. The festival integrates the landscape, the mining heritage of the area, and the collective energy of artists and dancers into a shared experience.

Veta 2026 continues to grow with intention, expanding its programme while preserving its underground spirit and intimate scale.

We work as one mind, we dance as one body. Veta: Mine Sound Extraction.

Oscar Mulero

ORBE

Fernando Sanz has been steadfastly dedicated to the craft of beats and breaks since he was a young sprout of 14 years in the sun baked southern Spanish port city of Algeciras. Under the imprint Orbe Records, Sanz has cultivated his own thriving techno community as artist and label head. Since 2014 Orbe Records has been lashing the block rocking techno of Sanz’s comrades Eduardo De La Calle and Steve Stoll, but mostly of Sanz’s own prolific moniker, Orbe. As DJ and producer Orbe keeps the mood surreal and dreamy while deploying understated drum machine patterns to hammer the platonic solids that keep his beloved community in tact. His interest on a conceptual sound made him pay attention to the techno rhythms, getting through different hardware such as "Buchla Lem3" or "Andromeda" a style that has led him to edit on stamps as "Hivern discs" of " John Talabot "or the prestigious and veteran" Mental Groove "and go through great clubs like Propaganda (Moscow), Fuse (Brussels), Le Sucre (Lyon) or Fabrique (Milan) After releasing several maxis on his own label and others as "Analog Solutions" of "Eduardo de la Calle", Fernando launches the Ep "Music of the spheres" that, with a remix of "Steve Stoll" would place him as one of the artists emerging from the European techno scene, beginning to act in places like Germany, Holland or Lithuania among others. At the beginning of 2016, he released his first LP "Kepler 438" on Shlomi Aber's label "Be as One" and began to receive feedbacks from artists such as Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, Blawan and Rodhad among others. And it was to be in mid-2017, when the Spaniard released his second long "Interplant" on his label "Orbe records", a triple vinyl influenced by artists such as "Aphex Twin" or "Boards of Canada", with a more conceptual sound and ambient, where he mixes breaks, techno and even jungle, and where he receives very good reviews from magazines such as TSUGI (FRANCE), FAZE MAG (BERLIN) OR RUMORE MAG (ITALY). Fernando has started 2018 editing a maxi on the label of Eric Clotier (Palinoia) "Laser's worldwar" being received by RESIDENT ADVISOR with very good acceptance and getting a fantastic "review"

Psyk

Psyk is a solid staple of the current techno scene and doesn't seem to have gone off course since his precocious artistic ascension. His sets in the best clubs all over the world have helped crystallize his DJ talents making him one of the most interesting DJs on the circuit and an influent figure in a whole generation. Psyk's singularity and maturity are constantly present in his music. The versatility who characterizes his sets are also shown in his productions, from "Arcade" or "Eclipse"´s entraining feverish techno, his remix for Planetary Assault System´s track Twelve to hypnotic and deeper cuts like Lowdown for Tresor or his eps on Non Series and Semantica. In 2014 his widely acclaimed debut album "Time Foundation" is released on Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver imprint and in 2019 his second album "A Moment Before" on Tresor records, same year that one of the most played EPs of the year "Natural Causes". This time in collaboration with the Spanish producer Reeko on his label Mental Disorder. In 2022 after a long collaboration during lockdown with Oscar Mulero, a new project from both under the alias "Second Skin" sees the light under James Ruskin´s infamous Blueprint Records. Like a conscientious artisan, Psyk approaches his productions with care, adding somber power and deepness through subtle touches, a process which has made him the subject of constant praise from illustrious artistic figures, be it through his offerings under the patronage of emblematic figures like Luke Slater, Len Faki, DVS1 stronghold labels Semantica and Tresor or even through his own label Non Series under his Maan alter-ego. Since its inception in 2011, Non Series has released music by strings of prominent artists from the likes of Dj Nobu, Architectural, Neel, Blawan, Luigi Tozzi, Function, Rrose... and has established itself as a reference in the Techno scene. By developing, refining and purifying his sets, Psyk is focusing all his efforts on the concretization of the ideas that agitate his mind.

Anika Kunst

Reading a dance floor is not a science, but knowing how to make the audience enjoy every minute is an art Anika Kunst puts into practice session after session. She has spent more than twenty years perfecting her intuition, technique and building up a vinyl collection which oscillates between timeless techno and the most select house, making the most of the nuances that exist between said genres and all their sub-genres have to offer. Maybe you remember some of her emblematic vinyl-only ‘All Night Long’ sessions or maybe you saw her perform in London, Berlin, Brussels or during her time in Latin America. She might have made her mark on one of your idyllic summer nights in Ibiza or perhaps you heard her at a festival or an distinguishing club in Barcelona at her ‘Selectors’ night; always in constant evolution, with all possibilities still open for exploration. You may be familiar with her well-respected label, which he founded in 2014 as Chapter Records, and you may even have played or listened to one of her releases yourself, perhaps at a DVS1 or Dave Clarke session. You might also have already discovered her studio work, such as her "Different Approach EP" on RSPX (Rekids Special Project), her acclaimed remix of Rødhad on WSNWG, her 'Hidden Intention EP' or 'Sin Rodeos EP' for Symbolism, Ben Sims' label. Her most recent release has been a track for ‘Back To Zero’, a V.A. on Rodhad's label.

Musical trends may fluctuate over time, but some artists remain pillars unscathed by the change in the tides. One such artist is undoubtedly Stojche Cvetanovski. Native of Skopje, Macedonia, he established himself as a notable undeground techno figure. The vibrant scene and the expansion of the Motor City sounds in the Macedonian capital, triggered him to explore his own path in his futuristic music phenomenon called Techno. After a decade devoted to djing, he shifted to producing, and in 2009 he co-founded “Argumento Music”. Stojche is one of the names on the European circuit that broke through by array of contributions to labels like A.r.t.less, Syncrophone, Fuse Brussels, Conform, Mutual Rytm, alongside many others. In 2011 he launched hissolo imprint “Tangible Assets”. An outlet that has given him the freedom to explore and refine his trademark Detroit – schooled dubbed out productions. “Tangible Assets” reflects a personal statement with emphasized appreciation for the history of techno music. His "Minor-scale funk" sound signature, assembled a discographic résumé that passed the test of time. He is consistent in pushing forward the timeless envelope of the “hi-tech soul” legacy. In contrast, as a dj that is deep in harmony with the roots of techno, electro or dub, he exudes the kind of tact that speaks nothing but the truth. Whether you find him in the basement of Tresor or Berghain, his dj sets providefurther evidence of many years spent behind the turntables, resulting in pounding yet dynamic journeys with a dose of emotional content. His constant pursuit for inspiration sits balanced with the pulse of the city life, and isworking tirelessly without fanfare to enrich a scene that sits close to his heart.
