Combining the sounds of techno, acid, breaks and house music, São Paulo DJ, producer, curator and label/agency boss Amanda Mussi works hard to bring something fresh and new to the dance-floor. Amanda is known as a strong presence in the queer underground music scene in São Paulo where she held her monthly party Dûsk for 5 years and now she is a resident at some of the best events in Brazil: Mamba Negra - where she debuted at her first Boiler Room, Dando and Kode (Rio); she often appears as a guest at events like DGTL festival, Photon and many others. Amanda has taken her sound on the road to many cities around the world and now she is based in Paraguay where she grew up and has a strong connection with the local scene and also has a new residency at Tango Club. She has been a very known presence in New York, at the infamous and best-regarded party Unter., Stockholm, Budapest and Berlin where she constantly performs at Buttons, Pornceptual, and Berghain, being one of the first female Brazilian DJs to perform there on the main floor. Her music releases started in the past 4 years with her Paraguayan crew from LPZ records, Renato Cohen’s Massa Records, The Lady Machine’s Unterwegs, PG Tune and the recently launched label Macro Hits in collaboration with her partner Ananda, where they’re having a monthly residency on The Lot Radio in NYC. In between shows and producing, Amanda runs the .alt bookings agency, a collective dedicated to promoting cultural exchanges in South America’s underground scene; this new platform allows her to collaborate with world wide artists, and brings together many scenes from her continent.
Bailey Ibbs
Bailey plays a crucial role in helping shape the landscape of contemporary techno and electronic music. Spanning across all fields of DJing, producing, and curating with his own label Night Service, he showcases a visionary approach that seamlessly blends elements of techno, breaks, and rave music. Having dedicated years to exploring and experimenting with sound, Ibbs made his entrance into the Techno scene in 2022 with the release of his 'Volta EP', which garnered the attention of heavyweights such as DVS1, Ben Klock & Marron. Building on this success, Ibbs continued to make significant contributions for KiNK, Token, Frenzy, and SLAM. His presence has become solidified on the global circuit alongside another impressive release, 'Not Into It EP,' on Night Service in 2023. In 2024, Bailey has been unveiled as a resident at the iconic Tresor, poised to continue evolving and refining his distinctive sound. As a passionate follower of the music's history, Ibbs harbors no inclination for nostalgia. Instead, he has immersed himself in the legacy of techno, fully committed to propelling it into new and innovative territories.
Delano Legito
Delano Legito (P. Truss as uptempo, breakbeat influenced alter ego), an Eindhoven based dj and producer, has been turning heads since the start of his career, and is rising as a young, fresh force in the Dutch and German underground techno scene. De Missie founder and resident brings a journey, switching through different bpm's, moods and emotions, creating unpredictable yet powerful dj sets. With the experience of playing in rekowned clubs like KHIDI, RADION, BASIS and thuishaven just to name a few, Delano is an artist to watch for. He's a returning force for collective like Vault Sessions and OECUS, and this in combination with his releases on labels like Exhale, BCCO and more he has proved that he is one of the talents that will stick around in the new generation of techno artists.
The Advent
London based Cisco Ferreira, or ‘The Advent’, can be described in many ways: a musician, a pioneer, a sound designer, a steady force, one persistent m*therf*cker, a rebel, an icon, an outsider, a great live artist... Mostly though, The Advent is known for his interpretation of what we call Techno. Ever since young Portuguese Cisco discovered Acid House in the London clubs he frequented, his journey has been about making his mark on the electronic music scene. Or, as he recently put it himself: “I’ve been doing this for quite a few years and I’m not going anywhere.” This sums it up pretty well; you won’t see Ferreira naked, shooting promo videos carrying a dog, or hear him publically worrying about the sincerity of the average EDM jockey. He’s everything about techno you’ve learned to love, without the circus you’ve learned to accept. Fresh out of college, Cisco’s hunger for sound landed him a job as assistant sound-engineer in several recording studios. There he learned about the art of translating feelings to frequencies, while at the same time recording various high profile artists from the world of Rock, Pop, Dance, and Reggae. When acid label ‘Jack Trax’ moved in next-door, Cisco started recording for the likes of Adonis, Fingers Inc, Marshall Jefferson, and Derrick May. These rendezvous sparked the inspiration for his first EPs on R&S and Fragile. In 1994 Ferreira signed a record deal for 12 EPs and 3 albums together with Colin McBean. This was the beginning of an era during which the duo set a worldwide standard for high quality underground Electro and Techno. They hit the world with a refreshing sound, both as The Advent, and ‘G Flame (Cisco) and Mr G’, the alias Colin is still using. Nowadays The Advent is a solo project, bombarding crowds around the world with its trademark raw, energetic sound. A sound that grants him yearly slots at festivals as Nature One, Awakenings and Bonusz, as well as regular shows in clubs as Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, Lehmann in Stuttgart, and Madrid’s Fabrik. He hasn’t given up cooperating with likeminded artists though! In 2007 he met Ricardo Rodrigues aka Industrialyzer, in whom he recognised an attitude similar to his own. They are both from Portugal, both self-made, and the both have a clear vision of what techno should sound like. As a duo they’re at least as popular as they are as individual artists, playing sold out shows wherever they go, and steadily creating an impressive combined oeuvre.
