Sabine Hoffmann
Sabine was born and raised in Berlin. She grew up listening to a diverse array of hip hop, soul, funk and crossover beats. Sabine discovered her passion for spinning vinyl around the early 2000’s, when she was first exposed to electronic music. She plays a deep blend of techno, electro, Chicago & Detroit house with nuggets of acid, funk and breakbeats rolled in. Besides club music, she is also available for Ambient sets. But regardless of the style, you will always find Sabine playing vinyl only sets as she prefers the warmth of analog sounds and the classic feel of turntables. She has played at almost all the leading clubs in Berlin such as About Blank, Tresor, Heideglühen, Salon zur wilden Renate, Berghain Kantine, Suicide, Griessmühle, IPSE, Farbfernseher, Golden Gate, Arena Club and the list goes on. Her international profile has been steadily increasing, she already played in Tiflis, Paris, Baku, Yerevan, Krakow and Thessaloniki to name a few. Since 2016 Sabine works at the well known OYE record shop in Berlin. She is taking care of all OYE club events and also all Instores happening at one of the record shops. Since January 2023 she is hosting the OYE Podcast series. Sabine is the founder of “Frauengedeck”. It´s an event series focusing on an all female line up. She wants to support and present female DJs. She has held many events at different clubs throughout Berlin like Wilde Renate, Griessmühle, Farbfernseher and Beate Uwe. The first international events outside of Germany, were held in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Her newest project is "Dub Nation". An event series brought to life by good old colleagues and friends Sabine Hoffmann and Kenneth Christiansen. Both share the unconditional love for the deeper and more dubby side of Techno and House. She finished her Audio Engineering studies at SAE. Inspired by her gained knowledge, she started putting her focus on music production. The first result, a collaboration with No Mad Ronin is available on the label Zaijenroots. For worldwide bookings please go in contact with booking.sabinehoffmann@gmx.de.
Shaleen
Her artistic journey is a hypnotic dance, where vinyl-only sets have become her signature groove. With relentless passion, she pushes the boundaries, fusing the nostalgia of the '90s with daring, modern soundscapes. In Shaleen's world, the pursuit of perfection is a constant beat. Her relentless quest for sonic mastery has led her to the analog realm, where she's fallen head over heels. A modular system now pulses at the core of her creative arsenal, forging the path towards electrifying live performances. Her global conquest is well underway, with iconic venues like Tresor Berlin, the enigmatic Säule at Berghain, and the pulsating E1 London bearing witness to her magnetic sets. She's graced stages from Link Bologna to Radion Amsterdam, leaving audiences electrified and craving more. As a resident of the transcendent "We Are Not Alone" events, Shaleen regularly casts her spell over Revier Südost Berlin. Her residency with Seelen. Records finds her a frequent guest at the revered Institut für Zukunft and the legendary Distillery Leipzig, solidifying her status as a techno shaman of the highest order. In 2020, she unveiled her debut EP in the heart of this techno tapestry, soon followed by releases on the trailblazing Turkish label Primus, known for its unwavering support of women's rights, and the pulsating streets of New York's Whirlwindtraxx. Shaleen's beats have even rallied for important causes, contributing tracks to Deestricted's fundraising compilation for Save Life in Ukraine and the latest "We Are Not Alone" compilation. But Shaleen's journey transcends the decks and studio. Her event series SURD stands as the vanguard of the first feminine/queer movement in West Germany's Ruhr-Area, an indomitable force since its inception in 2016 and still reverberating with defiant energy. And that's not all - Shaleen's audacious spirit knows no bounds. She's at the forefront of launching an interdisciplinary label project rooted in political activism, amplifying crucial causes and spreading awareness with every sonic wave. To her, techno isn't just music; it's a pilgrimage to the roots, a homage to its origins that must never be forgotten.
DJ Fart in the Club
Gwenan
On her journey from the Welsh hills, via London and Berlin, she has honed her art, diving deep into cerebral realms of dream-driven, tactile dance music, expertly weaving the gentle and the angular, with a strong sense of groove throughout. Inspired by the sounds of early 90s Sheffield and Detroit, and above all by the machines and the people who give them their voice, Gwenan is known for her perceptive presentation of techno in all its forms. Up before dawn on the day of the gig, pulling together records to play that night, she teases out the spaces between styles that escape classification. Directness, grit, irresistible movement, a sense of circuits jumping into life—it’s an ears-first approach that puts body and mood before time and place. In the studio, Gwenan produces music ranging from abstract electronics to dancefloor grooves using a mixture of classic hardware, software and an ever-expanding tangle of modules. Live, you can catch her in collaboration with Eli Verveine (as Gin & Tonic), as they do their best to step out of the way and let instinct—and the machines—do the talking.
