Barbara Boeing é DJ e pesquisadora musical há mais de uma década. Desde sempre apaixonada por música, com 23 anos juntou-se a quatro amigos para formar uma banda, que posteriormente se transformou no coletivo Alter Disco. As festas de graça entre amigos cresceram e se tornaram sinônimo de liberdade de expressão, mudança de paradigmas sociais e som de qualidade em Curitiba, indo contra os rótulos sérios muito comuns na cena local. Nesse ebuliente cenário, Barbara sempre se destacou formando pistas memoráveis nas suas festas, o que resultou em novos horizontes e apresentações para a DJ. Hoje, pode se orgulhar de ter feito muita gente dançar em grandes celebrações como o Festival Subtropikal, na pista de clubes como Vibe ou no seu projeto paralelo Discoteca ODARA, onde a artista interage ao lado de Dani Souto (Glocal). Com o raro poder de encantar os críticos enquanto coloca a pista pra dançar com sua pesquisa musical extensa e mixagens impecáveis, a pequena notável é considerada uma das joias do efervescente cenário da noite curitibana. DJ sensível às respostas da pista e atenta à evolução das tendências musicais, hoje Barbara tem a experiência e coragem para encarar o dancefloor com ouvido atento e personalidade, fazendo sempre uma seleção precisa para transformar qualquer momento na pista em uma experiência realmente especial.

Stump Valley

Stump Valley’s natural race begins in the hills of Turin, the Italian MotorCity by the alps. The duo produced their first wave of music sampling a large collection of records inherited from Dj Peppe Afro an unsung hero of the Italian Cosmic Era to whom they dedicated their mini LP “Magica Movida” on Rush Hour (No Label). They are compulsive crate diggers of italo disco and Italian afro-cosmic records. In 2014 Stump Valley opens their Magica Movida Studio in Berlin. Featured in the Italo House Documentary by Diadora, their conception evolves from a dusty warm old school sound transitioning into modern aesthetics. Similar is the approach to the dj set, accurately digging into rare grooves to create a singular mix of genres. Active on the scene for the last 10 years with gigs at Panorama Bar, Concrete, Rex, Corsica Studios, Le Bain NY, Boiler Room, they are regulars at Dekmantel festivals (Lente Kabinet, Dekmantel Selectors) and released their first LP “Natural Race” on the dutch label in 2019. Year 2021 brings the duo to the big apple with Soul Clap Records on which they release Melodj Mecca, a tribute to one of the most significant clubs of the Italian Afro movement opened in Rimini in 1981 and Venaria their last single track extracted from Italo Funk Compilation Vol. 2. Stump Valley is featured also on Permanent Vacation 8 Compilation and 2024 sees them working with Toy Tonics on their Every time EP, a Remix for Coeo, their single “Non dire di no” for the Italomania Compilation Vol2 and their collaboration with Barbara Boeing on her last EP.
