Rovin

Rovin is a Munich-born, Berlin-based techno DJ, producer, and promoter. His passion for fast, driving kick drums was sparked about ten years ago in iconic clubs like “Rote Sonne” and “MMA.” Rovin has now been in Berlin for nearly a decade, where he has refined and evolved his unique DJ style. For Rovin, DJing is a meditative state in which he invites the crowd to transcend time and reality with him. His sets aim to illustrate his personal view of techno, which at its core, is always minimalistic, percussive, and influenced by 90s and 00s styles. Rovin is dedicated to achieving the highest quality in all aspects of his artistry, whether it’s his DJ sets, productions, or other creative projects. With countless hours spent in his studio, he gives equal focus to jamming, sound design, and mixing. Driven by his passion, he launched his event series (Inline) in September 2023, where he organizes shows, curates a monthly mix series, and offers a platform for like-minded artists. In his words, Inline is more than just an electronic music party; it’s a testament to his dedication to equality in the electronic music scene, emphasizing a gender-balanced selection of artists and challenging the sexism still present today. After studying at 343 Labs and being part of their team, he now enters the next chapter of his creative journey. Influenced early on by the sounds of renowned artists such as The Advent, Ben Klock, Heiko Laux, and Remco Beekwilder, Rovin began exploring his own approach to production.
