FAQ:

1. What should I bring?

We encourage you to bring at least 2-3 items:

Clothes | Tools I Household Items I Books | Shoes | Kitchenware | Toys | Electronics | Accessories | Sportswear and more!

Please bring items that are clean, functional, and in good condition.

2. What can I take?

You don’t need to bring something in order to take something. That said, we encourage you to bring items you no longer use so the market stays full of good finds for everyone. Everything on the tables is free, and we ask that you only take what you truly need.

3. What should I do when I arrive?

You’ll see signs for different categories like kitchenware, toys, and electronics. Sort your items into the appropriate categories, either on your own or with the help of our volunteers.

4. What else can I do at the event besides swapping?

The Social Hub has coffee, tea, and brunch waiting for you, plus plenty of space to sit down, relax, and hang out with your friends.

5. Can I sell my stuff at the event?

No. It’s all about sharing. No selling, no price tags — just free-flowing fashion exchange and fun.

6. When is the best time to come?

You’re welcome to arrive anytime. If you're bringing items, we recommend coming 30 mins before closing so they have a better chance of finding new homes. If you arrive early and don’t find something right away, hang around — the real treasures (and people) show up throughout the day.

6. Is it a social event?

Absolutely. Come say hi to Joyce (the organizer) and our volunteers — we are your go-to for questions, chats, and vibes.

8. Is the space dog-friendly and baby-friendly?

Yes.

9. What happens to items left over after the event?

Any items left at the end will be donated to the Social Hub Berlin, stored for the next swap, or placed at the entrances of nearby apartment buildings for others to take. You’re also welcome to take back any items you brought.
