About this event

Sixteen years ago someone came back from Australia with an idea. No stage, no budget, no plan. Just a belief that something real could be built in a quiet Polish valley, the kind of place where the seasons still matter and the loudest thing most of the year is the river.

That idea became Summer Contrast.

Set within a Natura 2000 protected landscape along the Rega River, two hours from Berlin, the festival runs for seven days across five stages covering psytrance, techno, melodic house, deep house and ambient. The programming has always been about depth over hype. The community that grew around it feels the same way.

The 2026 lineup includes Astrix, DVS1, Surgeon, Infected Mushroom, Shpongle by Simon Posford, Juno Reactor, Hallucinogen, Indira Paganotto, Pachanga Boys, Monolink, Oscar Mulero, Fiedel, map.ache, James Ruskin, GMS, Laughing Buddha, Oliver Koletzki, Stavroz and many more.

Beyond the music, there are workshops, wellness spaces, art installations, giant hand-carved wooden sculptures, a river to swim in, open meadows to get lost in, and a community that has been quietly building this thing for over a decade.

Camping is included on site with hot showers, drinking water, a cashless payment system and glamping options available. The festival is fully zero-waste and cashless.

Tickets Semi Experience: August 6 to 10 (5 days) Full Experience: August 4 to 10 (7 days) Car Pass: required for bringing a vehicle or camper into the camping area

Getting there Berlin Airport: shuttle bus available, approximately 2 hours Szczecin Airport: train to Świdwin then taxi, approximately 1.5 hours Direct shuttle from Berlin Ostbahnhof via Bassliner

This is not a festival you stumble across. It is one you come back to.
