About this event
Every Thursday morning, we invite you to step into the surreal at Sssmile, Berlin’s feel-good Afterhour dedicated to distorted grins, wild grooves, and euphoric dancefloor energy. Happening at Prisma, Sssmile blends uplifting house, trippy techno, and the occasional touch of madness – delivered by a rotating cast of local heroes, unexpected live acts, and international guests. Whether you're closing out your night or starting your day, this is your invitation to melt into the beat. Expect sweaty hugs, warped visuals, and a dancefloor full of beautiful chaos – always from 6:00 to 13:00. Come as you are. Just don’t forget to sssmile.
Lineup
Tina von Kugler
Tina von Kugler, Italian Berlin-based DJ, has been immersed in the techno scene since her move to the German capital in 2016. Co-founding the collective Klub Ostkreuz (KOX) in 2017 and running a radio show at THF Radio since 2020, Tina has been instrumental in shaping Berlin's underground culture by organizing parties, (legal & illegal) raves, and art events. Despite her deep involvement in the music scene, her journey as a DJ began just two years ago. Since then, she has already made waves across Europe and South America, blending fast, groovy, and bouncy techno with a percussion-driven rhythm and influences from ghetto-funk, acid and electro music, which add an extra layer of energy and excitement to her mixes. Tina’s journey as a DJ is closely connected to her love for travel and adventure. Everything started with a big solo trip to Colombia, where she fully developed her DJ skills and got deeply inspired by the local underground scene. Since then, she’s continued to combine her two main passions - music and traveling - by performing in different countries around the world. In addition to playing in Colombia and Perú, she recently performed in India and Portugal. Even though she’s based in Berlin, she’s often on the road, exploring new places and connecting with different music communities. In November 2024, she launched a new radio show on New York’s Halfmoon Radio, featuring gender-diverse artists met during her travels. Tina offers versatile and captivating sets inspired by her travels and the communities she encounters. As her journey continues to unfold and she is now starting to produce her first beats, one thing is clear: her passion for music knows no bounds or borders.
