About this event

The sun has a special ritualistic status in the Nordics where seasonal extremes shape the way of life. For thousands of years people have followed the sun, and gathered on solstices for major celebrations. It's in our blood.

This is a five day gathering with music, dance, arts, activities, and whatever you bring forth into the immersive landscape at Froland. This is an invitation to take part in a ancient nordic ritual which has been transcending time and space for millenias.
