Sommerfest

A day-to-night gathering at one of Berlin's most unique cultural spaces.

Sommerfest takes over the grounds surrounding Klubhaus 14, a historic venue tucked away in Schlachtensee. Originally conceived as part of a post-war vision for collective living and cultural exchange, the clubhouse has gradually evolved into something more. Over decades, it has become a place where music, creativity, and independent culture could find room to breathe, hosting everything from intimate live performances and underground parties to community-driven artistic projects.

From 17:00, the space opens outdoors with free food, alcohol, live performances, and DJs soundtracking the evening as people drift between conversations, music, and the summer air. No barriers between crowd and performers, no strict schedule, just a gradual build shaped by the people who arrive.

At 22:00, the doors open and the gathering moves inside.

Floppy Disco take control of Klubhaus 14 until 04:00, transforming the clubhouse into an intimate house and disco dance floor. Close quarters, warm sound, low lights, and a room full of people moving together. The kind of night built on connection rather than spectacle.

From open-air freedom to late-night release, Sommerfest celebrates the spirit that has kept Klubhaus 14 alive for generations: a place where music comes first, where ideas become movements, and where every generation leaves its mark before passing the space on to the next.
