Solstice Festival 2026

An experience of music and art in a high plain environment where the sun never sets.

Solstice Festival is a gathering for people who enjoy music, art and nature. It takes place during midsummer (18.-20.6.) in northern Finland next to the Arctic Circle. The festival site, Rukatunturi, is a fell which rises half a kilometer above sea level, giving people picturesque views over pine trees and lakes.

That time of the year combined with the northern location means the sun doesn’t set at all, creating a unique atmosphere — a celebration of light and life.

FESTIVAL TICKETS

Three day tickets come in four waves. Each wave is limited in capacity, and as this cap is filled, the price goes up. General sales start on November 6th.

1-Day Tickets: 1-Day Ticket - Thursday 80€ 1-Day Ticket - Friday 80€ (Under 20 tickets left) 1-Day Ticket - Saturday 80€ (Under 50 tickets left)

Three day festival tickets include a three-day ski lift pass. 1-Day tickets do not include a lift pass. All prices include RA service fee.

If you have a Finnish culture voucher, you can use it on Tiketti.fi starting November 6th.

ACCOMMODATION:

Ruka-Ski Inn provides multiple different accommodation types for smaller or bigger groups. Through us you’ll get discounted pricing for your stay during the festival so make sure to book yours through Resident Advisor. The price shown here is for your entire group for the whole duration of the stay. So get one for your crew and split the cost later.

All accommodation options are within walking distance from the festival area. The RukaVillage apartments as well as RukaTonttu and AurinkoRinne are located close to the ski-lift that takes you to the top.

Cancellations must be made in writing to sales@ruka.fi. Failure to pay an invoice does not constitute a valid cancellation. Unpaid invoices may be transferred to debt collection, and the customer will be liable for any related costs.

Cancellations made during the accommodation period do not entitle the customer to any refund.

Bookings with a Right of Cancellation: Cancellation fees depend on the time of cancellation in relation to the arrival date:

* Cancelling more than 7 weeks prior to arrival: Cancellation is free of charge within 14 days of the booking confirmation. After this period, a fee of 1/3 of the total booking price + administrative fees will be charged * Cancelling 48–29 days prior to arrival: A fee of 1/3 of the total booking price + administrative fees will be charged * Cancelling 28 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of the accommodation price will be charged * Last-minute bookings (made less than 28 days before arrival): Cancellation is free of charge within 24 hours of booking. After 24 hours, 100% of the booking price will be charged

BUS TO SOLSTICE, ROUND TRIP TICKET:

Solstice offers bus transfers to Ruka from Helsinki and Oulu. Check the exact schedules of each bus from the RA event: Solstice 2026 – Transportation or from our website.

Bus ticket holders will get further instructions via email before the event.

All Solstice buses arrive straight to the door step at accommodations in Mastonaitio, RukaValley and RukaVillage, and leave from those places when traveling back. Buses from Helsinki stop at supermarket on the way to Ruka.

Due to the area's challenging terrain, the event is not fully accessible.

AFTER HOURS

If the sun doesn’t go down, why the hell should we?

This year Solstice After Hours take place in a new location at a club Piste, situated right in the heart of Ruka village. Bigger and better while keeping the intimacy of previous editions, we have two rooms for year 2026. Room 1 features hi-energy back-to-back action in classic afters style, while Room 2 is taken over by different collectives from Thursday to Saturday.
