About this event
Good folks! It’s been a minute since we’ve set up the SHUSH sound system at our beloved home grounds of Studio dB in Berlin and we can’t wait to welcome you back there. This time, however, for a nighttime dance instead of an evening function. Doors open at 9pm and we’ll be taking you into the early morning.
One June 20th we’re welcoming two Berlin-based selectors that we’re gassed to present for a b2b premiere. CHUKWU & Jana Falcon both have made a name for themselves with finely crafted all-vinyl sets, showcasing their deep knowledge of sounds ranging from 90s House to UK Garage, Techno and more. It’s a pleasure to be hosting this duo and their infectious chemistry behind the decks.
Alongside them, we’ll have SHUSH resident Ken Okuda step in for one of his extended sets, showcasing his palette of grooves & moods and unique storytelling through records. Our own Orlando Rosé rounds out the line-up, injecting the dancefloor with his well-loved energetic and soulful style.
To warm up proceedings, dance artist Cristina Buenaflor will be hosting a House Dance Workshop. Attendance is free to all ticket holders and is highly recommended to loosen up energies and bodies and get ready for this extended session.

Jana Falcon
Jana Falcon is a queer DJ, producer, Garage Girls and BRENN. resident and former Vinyl Cutting Engineer from Berlin. She grew up in the greater Frankfurt area. The vibrant nightlife of Frankfurt played a significant role in her development as a music enthusiast. In 2011 Jana relocated to Berlin, quickly immersing herself in the city's electronic music culture. In 2016, after years of honing her skills, Jana took a step forward in her career by releasing her first record on the label Smile for a While. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in her artistic journey, as her productions began to reflect her diverse influences. Throughout her career, she has continually evolved as both a producer and DJ, blending the old with the new in her sets and productions. Jana’s DJ sets are a reflection of her broad influences, combining UK Garage, 2 Step and 90s House tracks with modern, synth-driven House beats and deep, disco-influenced grooves. Her sets are characterized by their expertly crafted track selection and a keen ability to bring together a wide range of sounds. Jana is a DJ personality with an instantly recognizable signature sound.
Ken Okuda
Influenced by selectors like Theo Parrish and Sassy J, Ken Okuda aims to take the artform of cross-genre DJing into the modern day. With a dedication to spinning vinyl and a keen ear for contemporary sounds, his sets move in all directions.
Orlando Rosé
Orlando Rosé is a keys player, producer and DJ based in Berlin. Founding member of the Pinewax label family, he releases music on his own as well as through several projects, being half of the producer duo dibou and part of vocalist Yasmin Umay’s band. He hosts Pinewax Radio, a monthly radio program broadcasted on THF Radio showcasing local talents of the Berlin scene.
