Vom Umlaut sollte man sich hier nicht täuschen lassen: Der interdisziplinäre Techno-Künstler Zemög stammt aus Kolumbien und steht für einen Sound, der unverkennbar tribal statt teutonisch ist. Neben seiner tiefen Leidenschaft für modulare Synthese bespielt Jose Gómez Ríos bereits seit 2012 die Clubszene seiner Heimatstadt Pereira. Dort gründete er auch das Kollektiv Matteria, um der lokalen elektronischen Musik eine Plattform zu bieten. 2022 rief er zudem sein eigenes Label Tepuy Records ins Leben, worauf im Folgejahr sein Debütalbum Daxita auf dem argentinischen Imprint Danza Nativa folgte. Heute Abend wird er von zwei wegweisenden Köpfen aus Japan begleitet: OCCA (aus Hokkaido) und YSK (aus Kyushu) bündeln ihre Kräfte für ein exklusives Back-to-Back-Set.

Besides exploring modular synthesis, Jose Gómez Ríos has been DJing since 2012 in his hometown of Pereira, where he also co-founded the collective Matteria to host electronic music events. Furthermore, he founded Tepuy Records in 2022, and the following year released his debut full-length album Daxita on Argentine label Danza Nativa. Joining him tonight are two DJs visiting from Japan: OCCA from Hokkaido and YSK from Kyushu will play a back-to-back set.
