Conscious of the history of the music she loves yet always looking to push things forward, she’s no newcomer and her involvement with drum and bass runs much deeper than just a hobby. Having worked for record distributers SRD as well as promoting her own regular club night, Rupture, she’s learnt from the ground up and built a solid foundation on which she continues to grow. The success of Rupture stands testament to Mantra’s hard work and commitment, and that of her partner Double O. Borne of a desire to take it back to basics, Rupture has gone from strength to strength with original lineups that combine the best new DJs alongside some of the underground’s leading lights. The night has built up over the past 8 years to form what is now recognized as London’s best underground dnb night. Ravers as far as the US and various parts of Europe have all made the pilgramage to Rupture at Corsica Studios. With previous guests including D-Bridge, Amit, Doc Scott, Icicle and Bailey, Rupture demonstrates the philosophy of it’s founders: to bring quality music straight from the soul. A dedicated and professional outlook has won Mantra the support of some of d & b’s most respected DJs, including Equinox, Loxy and Storm. Having established links with some exciting new producers, Mantra keeps her selection fresh with dubplate material from the likes of dBridge, Overlook, Pessimist, Gremlinz, Theory and Loxy plus others. A certified vinyl junkie, she’s also been known to draw deep from the crates and drop tracks that other DJs no longer dare to play Her productions have won her support from dBridge, Loxy, Storm and Flight amongst others. With collaborations underway with Gremlinz, Drum Cypha and her partner, Double O, Mantra’s productions are set to keep moving forward in 2018. Decibella

Captivated by the sounds of Garage, Hardcore and Jungle via pirate radio stations and rave tape packs, Decibella found her home on the dance-floors of One Nation, Telepathy and Raindance where she began her underground musical education, leading later to the dubstep-oriented institutions FWD and DMZ. 
 Her DJ sets capture the authentic sounds of Jungle and Rave, across it's broad spectrum of forms. Decibella pushes the freshest dubs and releases from the scenes new wave of contemporary artists and labels, yet her taste is infused with a revered nod to the original sound and vibe of the genre from where her passion and love for the music was born. Describing her approach to DJing and production she says 'Music to me is this beautiful mixture of darkness and light and of softness and toughness, I always try to balance these elements in my DJ sets and when I'm making music in the studio.' Her debut record Outta London/ Be True on AKO Beatz, had support from scene heavyweights DJ Flight, Mantra, Sherelle, Coco Bryce, Tim Reaper and J Kenzo, and had further releases on Coco Bryce's Diamond Life imprint, and the Club Glow label. Blackeye MC

Inclined to deliver his deep vocals, not on top of the music as a major focal point, but with a complimentary approach, Blackeye exudes presence enough to touch the music with his deep, soulful tones. Over the last couple of decades, while developing his skills on the circuit, be it small intimate gigs or pirate stations, Blackeye has amassed some prime residencies over the years, as well as a lengthy outing with a weekly show on Life FM in the early 2000s. Blackeye was now starting to take centre stage before teaming up with Double O and Mantra to host the formidable Rupture jungle events, fast becoming the voice of the night. His tireless drive and passion for the music has seen bookings for Blackeye coming in thick and fast taking him to events up and down the country and beyond to international regard. Working regularly with many of the scenes pioneers such as Digital & Spirit, Seba, Stretch and label events such as Rupture, Technicality, AKO, Hardware and Metalheadz. Blackeye has crafted his own niche, playing in his own lane to secure the well-earned trust of DJs who can expect Blackeye to enhance any set he hosts.
