roams notations

Roams sees itself as a collective dedicated to creating spaces for artistic research, experience, and encounter, within which it brings together various disciplines.
The goal is to explore the sonic spectrum of wood—in the spirit of New Music—as a unifying element of interdisciplinary creation and to place it in ever-changing contexts. In “roams_notations,” everything revolves around itself. The
sound artist Veith Michel von Tsotzhousn plays with the sound of wood.
Components of the resulting spatial sound sculpture
include the sounds of sculptor Harald Kienle’s stage, the
wooden dress worn by dancer Michaela Pereira Lima, as well as those of
a gramophone with a wooden turntable and a record player.

Roams versteht sich als Kollektiv für künstlerische Forschungs-, Erfahrungs- und Begegnungsräume, in dem sie unterschiedliche Disziplinen positionieren.
Ziel ist, das Klangspektrum des Holzes im Sinne der Neuen Musik als Verbindungselement interdisziplinären Schaffens herauszuarbeiten und in immer neue Zusammenhänge zu bringen. In "roams_notations" dreht sich alles um sich selbst. Der
Soundkünstler Veith Michel von Tsotzhousn spielt mit dem Klang des Holzes.
Bestandteile der dabei enstehenden Raum-Sound-Skulptur
sind die Klänge der Bühne des Bildhauers Harald Kienle, des
Holzkleides der Tänzerin Michaela Pereira Lima, die eines
Grammophons mit Holzplatte und eines Plattenspielers.
