RADIO PANINI x Distortion Street Party: The Red Truck
Meet your organizer
About this event
After last year’s success, Radio Panini returns to Distortion with their infamous day party, this time in collaboration with the nightclub Jolene. A red truck, grilled paninis, and six hours of back to back action with Tania Just & Tea, TS Kahuna & Hakeem, NAH CARE & Britney Speed. It’s loose and full of the eccentric energy that defines Radio Panini.
"We are hitting the streets again - harder, c*ntier and more motorized than ever !
This year Distortion is landing in Vesterbro, so we secured an absolute prime parking spot right in front of meatpacking for our red truck, and planning to serve tchunez, panini and absolute vibes right in front of meatpacking entrance.
This time around, we are partnering up with Jolene to bring some of our favourite residents and friends of the house - first in the Green oasis of Halmtorvet 38 during the day, then for an secret lineup all nighter at the club.
Back to back is taking on a whole new meaning for this one - come hungry ;)"

Britney Speed
Hakeem
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Hakeem is never afraid to go too deep into his emotive musical selections. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of funk music (Parliament Funkadelic, ZAPP), Jamaican dub (Lee Scratch Perry, Eek A Mouse), soul music (Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye) … all which became infused with his own love for both West Coast hip-hop and jazz, Hakeem ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling beats. A very active member of his local community of Los Angeles, Hakeem is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a massive music scene. Over the last 10 years of playing domestically and internationally, Hakeem has had a lot of time to develop his sound. Though he loves playing in nightclubs alongside national and international acts alike, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer and radio presenter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. He now splits his time between Los Angeles and Oslo where over he hosts a bi-monthly radio show on RINSE France dedicated to showcasing the latest underground music.
TS Kahuna
For over a decade, TS Kahuna has been a constant presence across Copenhagen and Europe's underground — a DJ whose focus on narrative, tension, and intuition has earned him a reputation for sets that feel alive from start to finish. Based in Copenhagen, the Italian selector has played at some trusted Danish institutions including Ved Siden Af and Den Anden Side, Culture Box and Institut for X in Denmark; as well as global venues like The Glove That Fits (London), Radion (Amsterdam), City Club (Augsburg), Tante Emma (Innsbruck), Bunker (Torino), and Paradise Technique (Milan), as well as Japan in Mexico City. As a DJ, Kahuna describes himself as a generalist — curious and open-ended rather than fixed in genre. His selections bridge eras and sensibilities: from stripped-back 4/4 tools and dub-soaked minimalism to warm house, off-kilter bass, and emotional oddities. What ties it together is not a single sound but a feeling — patient, detailed, and quietly unpredictable. Long sets are where he thrives, letting moods evolve naturally through sustain and release rather than formula. Alongside his work behind the decks, Kahuna has been instrumental in shaping Copenhagen’s community-driven nightlife landscape. He is co-founder of Radio Panini, a hybrid community radio and panini bar, and creative director of Jolene Bar itself — one of the city’s most enduring nightlife institutions. He also co-runs Floor Clearance (with Vienna’s Studio Natura), an adventurous club night that has hosted artists such as Yushh, Piezo, and Stones Taro, and collaborates with collectives like La Notte (Turin), Yakamooz (Austria), and Traverse (Amsterdam). His long-running radio project Spazio Aperto — co-hosted with Prince of Whales and aired on Noods Radio, Radio Raheem, Operator, and Threads — continues to highlight emerging voices and left-field ideas. Whether under his own name, as DJ On Call for slower, bass-driven excursions, or through Simil Forma — a four-hands collaboration with Maria exploring the space between body and brain music — TS Kahuna operates with the same guiding principle: curiosity first, ego last, always in service of the room.
