JUMER

JUMER (he/him) is a Barcelona based DJ and producer shaping a contemporary vision of Trance that blurs the lines between the classic sound and the modern world of experimental club music. Active in Barcelona’s underground scene for over a decade, JUMER’s work is driven by a vision of pushing Trance into new club contexts without losing its emotional core. Rooted in the spirit of early Ibiza and classic Trance, JUMER’s sound combines euphoric vocals and melodic intensity with an experimental outlook, heard in his immersive sets built for pure dancefloor euphoria. This vision comes to life most clearly through TRANCE NXC, the party and platform he founded in Barcelona in 2022, which has become both a creative hub for artists across the globe and a community focal point for the local scene. Through his DJ work and TRANCE NXC, JUMER has shared stages with some of the most groundbreaking artists shaping modern Trance and alternative club music, including TDJ, Hannah Diamond, and Minna-no-kimochi, among others. His work has also taken him further afield with standout performances in 2025 at Montreal Pride, as well as taking the TRANCE NXC experience on the road to London, New York City, Glasgow… and an appearance on NTS Radio in 2025 for Spinee, a hard dance mainstay on the station. Beyond 2025, his artistry and curation have also fostered collaborations with some of the most renowned brands in experimental club such as Eastern Margins, Soul Feeder, SKSKSKS, Keep Hush, Planet Fun, Club Cringe and Nina Protocol to name a few. Alongside DJing, JUMER releases original music and club focused edits, while curating his own TRANCE NXC imprint. In 2025, he released “Pulsaciones” on TDJ’s SPF INFINI, marking a key moment in his musical evolution and reinforcing his connection to the new wave of neo-Trance artists with strong references to his balearic roots. Beyond performance, JUMER has been an essential force in sustaining alternative electronic music within Barcelona’s club landscape. Through 30+ editions of TRANCE NXC, the platform has spotlighted local and international talent working across Trance, Techno, Hard Dance, and Experimental Club, while also embracing global electronic sounds such as Budots and Spain’s own Makina. TRANCE NXC functions as a meeting point for the niche online SoundCloud communities that shaped JUMER’s early influences who have become forces in the scene today, with a strong community focused crowd. TRANCE NXC’s visual identity is central to its work. The project’s graphic universe draws heavily from 90s-00s rave and pop culture references, and early internet aesthetics, blending nostalgia with contemporary design to create a recognisable and emotionally charged visual language for each edition. Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, JUMER continues to develop his sound into new territory while expanding TRANCE NXC internationally and further embedding it within Barcelona’s club landscape. His commitment to innovation, community, and emotionally driven dance music positions him as a key figure in the next wave of experimental and Trance informed electronic music.
