Phædra

PHÆDRA brings together three artists in Lisbon for an evening of minimalist sound, repetition, and attentive listening, where deep time and the present briefly coexist through resonance, texture, duration, and space.

Alëna Koleso

Alëna Koleso is a visual and sound artist based in Portugal. Her practice spans noise music, sound performance, drawing, and publishing, combining electroacoustic experimentation, found objects, field recordings, improvisation, and chance to create attentive and site-responsive listening experiences.

José Trujillo

José Trujillo is a sound artist based in Portugal. His solo project, Hablamos Muertos, explores psychedelic ambient and avant-garde music through synthesizers and bass guitar. He has performed across independent experimental venues and recently released The Ship Is Sinking (2025).

Abigail Toll

Abigail Toll has carved out a distinctive space in contemporary drone and electroacoustic composition. Rooted in early training in voice and flute, her practice mobilizes resonance and tuning to probe trance states and structures of power through hypnotic, minimalist works.
