Lineup
Makèz
Inspired by artists who defy easy categorization -like Slum Village, Masters at Work, Moodymann and Theo Parrish- they create music that finds beauty in nuance. Each track becomes an invitation: a moment to explore, to feel, and connect. The duo found each other in their early high school days, through a shared love for house music. They’ve spent over 15 years translating their taste and vision into music that lives somewhere between underground club grooves and songs that resonate beyond the dance floor. Drawing from the rich textures of hip hop, jazz, and disco, they craft electronic music that feels both familiar and fresh—a bridge between nostalgic rhythms and contemporary production. Their journey from teenage music enthusiasts to international artists, is a narrative of organic growth and musical intuition. After moving to Amsterdam, they immersed themselves in the city's nightlife, transforming their youthful musical curiosity into a professional pursuit that would reach dance floors across the globe. The two developed an almost telepathic connection—complementing each other's strengths both on stage and in the studio. Their differences aren't obstacles, but the very source of their creative language. Makèz’s discography has been marked by releases on labels like Heist, No Art, Balance Recordings, and Classic Music Company. However, 2023 marked their definitive international breakthrough with "Downstream ft. Life On Planets" as summer's most sought-after track ID.
Keyrah
Known for playing pick-and-mix with a magnitude of genres, Keyrah’s eclectic approach to her curations allows her to seamlessly blend between a multitude of club settings and radio shows across the world. She steps away from the obvious choices yet always appeases the crowds. It’s effortless and refreshing. She cites her musical richness from a household of eclectic sounds played by her parents and her background in music performance. Present day, you can catch Keyrah spinning music from various corners of Future Sounds, Electronica, House, R&B, Rap, Soul, Indie and Jazz but to name a few, all of which is reflected in her monthly residency with Rinse FM. She’s an all-in-one sound collective - without a lens or some criterion for selection. It’s the sort of filter that’s often unstated but clearly detectable among DJs. Since moving in 2019, the Birmingham born selector is fast-becoming a favourite in London’s competitive scene, she plays, crushes her set and does it all over again. There’s no gimmick. Every venue is her pitch, playing the likes of KOKO, Fabric and XOYO and hosting guest mixes for BBC 1Xtra, Soulection and NTS Radio. She’s kept crowds toasty for players like Jorja Smith, Sampha, Kaytranada and Mansur Brown and has been turning tables for brands such as Pioneer, Nike, Stussy, Hypebeast, Selfridges and LN-CC. “Different day, different track, different mood” - Keyrah
