Mandel is a child of two worlds, blending the influences of his West African roots and his European upbringing to create a sound that is truly one of a kind. His music is a fusion of different sounds and moods from across the globe, resulting in a rich and diverse sound that captivates listeners. Mandel's exposure to the legendary Berlin nightlife scene has also had a significant impact on his style, adding an electronic edge to his already eclectic sound. As a resident at Refuge Worldwide Radio with his show, House of Highlife, Mandel continues to share his musical vision with the world. His unique blend of cultural influences and global sounds creates a musical journey that takes listeners on a fascinating and exciting ride.
Baba T
Photographer and DJ, Babajide Tikare has a fine tuned ear for groove, with selections ranging from disco, afrobeat to house and acid. He is an all-round artist and founder of radio show and club night ‘Don’t Touch My Fro!'.
Sub Sahara
Rooted in the expansive range of dance music, her sound is driven by percussion and groove, reflecting the deep ancestral rhythms of her African lineage. Her eclectic catalog spans house, techno, breaks, electro, hardgroove, disco, and more. Dance, an ancient ritual of connection and expression, is at the core of Sub Sahara’s artistry. She channels this heritage into her sets, honoring movement as both a personal and collective experience.
