BACKGROUND:
From his father, LevyM inherited the gift of playing instruments by ear. By the age of 12, he was already composing his own music on the piano, despite not being able to read a single note. His father introduced him to the sounds of Carlos Santana and African influences, and through annual trips to Ibiza from a young age, the alternative rhythms of the island’s hippie culture became part of his DNA. From these roots, LevyM began producing dance music infused with African elements, leading to his passion for Afrohouse in 2018 after his first encounter with Black Coffee's sound at Hï Ibiza.
