Lunchmeat Festival returns to Planetarium Prague with two contemplative works dedicated to the natural world. Czech-founded, Barcelona-based PAST Studio debuts a world premiere adaptation of Vanishing Flora, a meditative audiovisual poem dedicated to endangered plant species. UK-based Studio Above&Below will present a work on the tidal body as a space shaped by overlapping rhythms of time.

Vanishing Flora is an audiovisual poem dedicated to some of the world's most endangered plant species. The visuals are derived from graphic material sourced from biodiversity preservation databases, with a particular emphasis on Central European ecosystems. With its subtle, meditative tone, the work invites audiences to contemplate the beauty of nature and the passage of time. By employing fulldome technology, Vanishing Flora delivers a compelling immersive experience while raising awareness of humanity's impact on the planet.

Semi-Diurnal Spaces - Tidal Temporalities by Studio Above&Below develops from an earlier real-time installation responding to tidal and atmospheric conditions in the Bristol Channel, with this new iteration expanding beyond live data towards the longer cycles that shape the waterbody. A twelve-minute choreography compresses twelve months into a single experience. Changing wave formations, tidal patterns, and lunar cycles appear and dissolve throughout the work, bringing together rhythms that operate across hours, days, months, and seasons.
