Curated by selector & label founder, Afrocat, with finds from her crate-digging adventures in Ghana & Ethiopia, she delivers psychedelic afro funk, highlife, gospel, ethio-jazz, afro spiritual sounds… and a dynamic conversation between the diaspora and the Motherland.

And - this is the flavour of a brand new summer residency hosted at late-nite spot, Bricks London, in Brixton

Live Band - Red Earth Collective
Red Earth Collective is a band of extremely talented, seriously funky young musicians, drawn from and led by alumni of the Youthsayers, offspring of legends, the Soothsayers, playing afrobeat, jazz, dub, and beyond

Guest Selector, Idris -
Native West Londoner with North African roots, he draws from a broad musical palette, seamlessly blending Hip-Hop, Jazz, Brazilian music, Afrobeat, Soul, Funk, Broken Beat, Electronica and Disco. Idris brings warmth, energy and curiosity, while staying true to the culture's core values: peace, love, unity…and having fun.

PLUS! with a host of percussion instruments, you are invited to play with us, or bring your own instruments…immerse yourself in the music, and the afro-futuristic visuals
