What happens when jazz improvisation meets the logic of electronic music, in both production and performance? Jazz moves forward by refusing to repeat itself; electronic music frequently moves forward by repetition. Lyder, the live trio formed by Polygonia (live electronics, vocals, violin), odizouu (Moritz Stahl: live electronics, saxophone) and YYARD (Yannis Anft: live electronics, piano), thrives on the productive tension between those two positions.
With releases on Jazz-O-Tech, the band has established a sound that moves from harmonic, slowly evolving soundscapes to fast, driving passages: each performance shaped in real time by the conversation between the performers, grounded in all three members' background in DJing & live performance, improvisation and music production.
After years of Polygonia's Blitz residency, odizouu's "Tunnel Visions" series at Blitz and YYARD's debut DJ set here last December, Lyder grace our floor just in time before the grand finale.

Ticket price will be flexible on a pay-what-you-can basis: 15€, 20€ or 25€.
