Chontane

With Ukrainian roots growing up in Berlin, Chontane started playing in his city’s clubs at the mere age of 19. Starting things off with a residency at the Krach nights in Humboldthain and now having played for some of the most prestigious clubs such as Basement, KALT, Tresor, Radion & BRET in Amsterdam, Blitz, Fuse club in Brussels, and RSO in Berlin, Chontane can be increasingly found blurring the lines between techno, breaks, and electro in cities around the word. Part of the new wave of producers more invested in sound design and razorsharp productions than ever before, Chontane’s early studies in music and sound design allow for surgical precision; his fascination for sound in general can be heard in his records. He gives body to his work and has been pulling together tribal and groovy techniques inspired by the classic 90s and early 2000s club records to create density and effect on the dancefloor. His work stands at a stylistic crossroads between various dance genres, easily slipping into just about anyone’s tracklist if their goal is to get people moving. Since his debut release in 2018, Chontane has garnered praise and support, leaving a lasting impact on the industry. Notably, he has released two highly anticipated records on ARTS Records, showcasing his versatility and talent. Additionally, he launched his own label, TANE, and recently released a second EP on the rapidly rising label, Mutual Rytm, associated with SHDW & Obscure Shape. With his roots grown deep in the world’s techno capital, Chontane’s career is well on its way to becoming international. Ready to push boundaries and surprise music enthusiasts with unexpected blends to fire off his erratic taste in music, Chontane’s mixes and productions represent today’s necessity for the perfect balance between consistent innovation and guaranteed efficiency.

Elisa Bee

A passionate record collector with an eclectic taste spanning jazz, reggae, hip-hop, rock, and, of course, house and techno, Elisa Bee is equally captivated by the rich sounds of the past and the experimental waves shaping the future of music. Moving fluidly through ever-evolving creative landscapes, she has been DJing for over 18 years—starting in her native Sardinia before making her mark in Milan. Elisa’s productions have garnered international recognition, earning airplay on dancefloors and radio stations worldwide. Her music has been released on esteemed labels such as Symbolism, Hardgroove, Truncate, Unknown To The Unknown, Balkan Vinyl, I Love Acid, and ANAØH. In recent years, her sound has evolved towards techno with a strong 90s influence, driven by her deep love for hardgroove. Her latest projects include a collaborative EP with Detroit legend Rolando, released in late 2024, alongside numerous remixes and solo tracks. Resident Advisor has recently recognised her as one of the finest selectors and producers in Italy: "[...] exploring and then refining a style of techno that has that rare, hard to put your finger on quality: a soulful reverence that pays homage to the old days and the originators without just copying them". As a resident DJ at Tempio Del Futuro Perduto in Milan, Elisa’s all-night sets are described as immersive journeys: “acid, very groovy, sometimes dark, always energetic, and dreamy towards the end.” Regular at Berghain since 2023, she has showcased her signature sound through some of the most respected podcast series, including HATE, Awakenings, Slam Radio, and RA Podcast.

In addition to PoleGroup, his tracks have appeared in several of the most important international labels, such as 47 (Tommy Four Seven’s label), Mord Records, Semantica, Horo or Warm Up Recordings. 2016 brings the launch of his own label: Order&Devotion, where he will release those of his works which move between dark atmospheres and deep and visceral sounds, all surrounded by rhythms designed for the dance floor. Hamburg-based DJ and producer known for no-frills, raw electro and techno using only analogue hardware.

Lea Occhi

Where words fail, music speaks. Reserved and solitary, Léa found refuge in music since her childhood. Jazz, soul music or French chansons, family moments usually came and still come hand in hand with music and sharing the joint, somewhat meditative listening experience. An ardent curiosity for Electronic Music started rising in her highschool days, pushing her towards broadening the musical horizon and consequently DJing in parallel to her fashion and design studies. After a few years of exploring parties in Germany and Paris, she co-founded Spectrum Waves in 2017 - a parisian LGBTQ+ collective with tolerance, diversity, freedom, parity and respect at its core. The collective hosts events at Station Gare des Mines, a rehabilitated industrial wasteland and former railway station, to provide a safer space for minority communities, where freedom of expression is lived in all thinkable forms. Through its lineups and podcasts channel, Spectrum highlights emerging French and international DJs and producers. Léa is also at the forefront of promoting women in the Parisian electronic scene. Further commitments go as far as donating parts of the Spectrum earnings to different associations close to her heart such as aid to migrants and refugees, LGBTQIA+ associations or the fight against HIV. Through her collective, she has managed to create a perfect balance between her own desires, ambitions and her fundamental values. Name the unnameable, communicate the unknowable. Spectrum Waves also vastly helped shaping Léa’s musical comprehension and appreciation of Techno as an outlet, which is able to create the same meditative listening experience and togetherness she feels when listening to music with her family. Her sets stand out for their sharp selection and absolute coherence. A mental, groovy Techno fueled by organic, tribal elements – widely reverberating in its uniqueness and class. The creation of an intimate atmosphere and cohesion in each of her sets makes them stand out, equally so does the implementation of feelings and emotions while at the same time following a rather minimalistic approach in the music itself. A real digger at heart, she has a very wide range of styles and tempos, from techno to micro house, deep, ambient or house/funk - she knows how to adapt and read energies, giving what's needed at the right moment. Pornceptual, Eerste Cie, Vault Sessions or Meat free… Playing for collectives that match her values and commitments is crucial. She performs in renowned European clubs and festivals such as Berghain, Tresor Berlin, De School, BRET Amsterdam, Fold London, Le Sucre Lyon, ∄ Kyiv, Awakenings, Fusion Festival to name a few, but also in Asia. Léa’s path will continue in 2024, capturing ears and hearts by storm. Bookings: tim@outlined-am.com

Soundstream

Born in West Berlin in the 1970s, the producer has come a long way since first hearing Technotronic’s “Pump Up the Jam” on the radio in 1989, a time when the Berlin Wall was pulverized to the ground and house music reached the city in full force. Growing up on a diet of George Benson and Chic from his American stepfather’s collection, he then entered the quintessential orbit of Hardwax and Tresor in the early ’90s. It was there that he discovered his love of Chicago’s chopped-and-screwed roughness and New York’s groove. The young producer took his influences and transformed them into a template that would come to define his output: he chopped, cut, and reforged loops into his first Soundhack release in 1997, which was met with instant acclaim, as well as his first official Soundstream release in 1999, “Good Soul”. Since then, each new Sound Stream, Soundhack, or Smith ‘N’ Hack record (his singular collaboration with friend and peer Errorsmith) is greeted with anticipation by DJs, producers, and fans around the world. The pace for his output—released every few years in a measured fashion, but always instantly classic—has kept up with the quality of releases, from the timeless “Live Goes On”, “Bass Affairs” and „Love Remedy“ to his recent triple album „Disco Fantasy“. Tightly sampling disco and funk and overlaying them with pummeling kicks, his tracks are always instantly recognizable, dance floor bombs—crossovers as likely to be found in the bags of disco heads as much as house producers. Helming his DJing craft in the old Tresor and Ostgut, few can lay claim to having played at Berghain/Panorama Bar around 200 times since its doors opened in 2004, a residency that has cemented Soundstream’s DJing reputation at home and abroad. A look into his bag reveals lovely disco 12 inches, dirty Chicago house, immortal club classics, and dew-fresh jams—all blended, mixed, and sliced together with style, grace, and his trademark smile. Humble and understated, Soundstream doesn’t cater much to the world of social media hype and vacuous musical trends. Rather, like all great musicians, he lets the music do the talking.
