Britta Arnold
When you hear creeping high hats, hypnotic beats and a pop of acid, chances are you‘re hearing Britta Arnold from the console of her musical spaceship. Straightforward and distinctively poised, her unique blend of beats makes for a milkshake of cosmic potency. For this elegant fire red, her pledge to break norms and find the hottest music on the block has gained her quite the following and opened up a fantastic world of people, places and special moments. Since co-founding the Bar25 label in 2006, her nights are spent playing gigs anywhere between Asia, America and Europe, while many of her days are spent in the studio where she dreams up new music. She has released on Katermukke and Heinz, remixed tracks by ‘It boys’ Satori and Stavroz, and been remixed by the likes of Claude VonStroke and Ruede Hagelstein. Aside from this, her new musical project ‘Britta Unders’ with Amsterdam based Unders, is adding even more magic to her minutes. They are playing sets from sundown to sunrise together all over the world but also started a new label Happy Camper, this will be launched November 2017 with artists as Mira, Be Svendsen, dOP and Noraj Cue. When not doing these things, she’s probably planning her GRRR Mit BRRR party — a celebrated event at the Berlin club, Kater Blau. A born and bred Berliner who never had to learn how to be one, Britta reflects the city in which she still calls home: a little edgy, a little down to earth and always filled with artistic ambition. Having once lived in a caravan with her cat ‘katuscha’ on the grounds of the Bar25, she takes this Happy Camper vibe with her into every space she enters, whether the club, the festival, the studio or a walk through her home town. With the support from her global electronic family pushing her in the right direction and a naughty box of tunes on her back, the future of this lady from outer space only goes from strength to strength. So get your space suit on and go intergalactic roaming with your best friends and lovers. Do it to the hypnotic and wired sound of Britta Arnold.
Soso Klein
Soso Klein, a French-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer, has quickly made her mark in the Berlin midtempo scene. Her sets blend dark disco and dreamy techno with floating melodies and indie dance influences, creating eclectic, colorful journeys. Within just two years, she has played at renowned festivals such as Fusion Festival, Bucht der Träumer Festival, Mystic Creatures Festival, as well as at Berlin’s iconic clubs. She has shared stages with international artists like Oliver Koletzki, Oliver Huntermann, Omar S, and Frida Darko, and performed at international venues across Europe and the Middle East. Balancing softness with powerful groove, her performances captivate through subtle intensity and infectious energy, forging a strong connection with the crowd. It's with this contrast between softness and bouncy beats, between funky, melodic & dark, that she chose her artist's name, meaning "so-so little" in German. Expect to be surprised and put on good shoes, it's gonna groove!
Johanna Elias
As an avid digger with an expansive taste palette, Johanna’s sets are diverse and rather composed on mood, predominantly showcasing various styles of house—acid, minimal, Chicago, and UK—while seamlessly integrating elements of techno, breakbeat and bass, dub, electro, and leftfield gems. Her sound as a whole has been shaped over many years by afterhour culture; renowned for her extended, morphing blends, she has a talent for getting dancers on their feet, drawing them into an endless trance. Her sets are intuitive, creating a sound experience that connects deeply with the listener. They masterfully balance high-energy beats with edgy nuances, playful touches, and dreamy atmospheres. She enjoys to play with different moods one could feel on a dance-floor and mix them together - for dancers she often likes to create a cocktail of euphoric, sexy, and nostalgic. And otherwise she really likes to fall into minimalism (of all genres). Johanna captivates audiences in Berlin's iconic venues, including Sisyphos, Watergate, Golden Gate, ://about blank, Renate, and Kater Blau, alongside extensive performances at underground raves and various radio shows such as HÖR, Cashmere, FLUX FM, and Refuge Worldwide. She is rapidly gaining recognition for her unique style across cities in Germany and beyond, captivating audiences throughout Europe. This summer, she took her sound to eight festivals, performing across Germany and in countries such as Lithuania, Austria, and France.
