Aiden Francis
Cutting his teeth at Manchester’s iconic queer parties, Aiden Francis has become a familiar presence in the city’s vibrant nightlife and across Europe, whether soundtracking intimate rooms or commanding bigger spaces with immersive, groove-heavy sets. As a producer, Aiden’s music carries the same pulse, nodding to the golden era of dance while folding in his own contemporary edge. With releases emerging on respected imprints and more in the pipeline, he continues to build a catalogue that reflects his deep connection to the dance-floor and an ever-evolving musical identity. CLUB RAUM, Macadam, The White Hotel, OXI and The Warehouse Project have all played host to his magnetic and floor-focused selections. His sound can also be heard floating online through mix contributions for The Lot Radio, Hue & Saturation and Radiant Records - each leaving a distinct impression and extending his reach far beyond the booth. A resident at the long-running High Hoops - one of Manchester’s most revered parties - and a regular on Crop Radio, Aiden channels the electric spirit of the underground into everything he does. His DJ sets are rich and dynamic, drifting through the spectrums of house, techno and all things progressive, stitched together by hypnotic flair and the intuition of someone deeply tuned to the dancefloor. With years of experience behind the decks delivering sets that are intuitive, electrifying, and deeply transportive, Aiden is adept at conjuring up a storm whether it’s day or night.
Amelia Leigh
Amelia Leigh is a 25 year old, Manchester born DJ/Producer who is rapidly making her mark all across the UK’s underground music scene. Over the last few years, Amelia has carved out a reputation for delivering dynamic, high energy performances often defying genre boundaries - earning her several opportunities to showcase her talent on some of the UK’s largest stages. In this time, she has managed to secure residencies with well-respected event brands such as Big Fat Rave & Profound Sound alongside cementing a monthly slot on London based Radio Broadcaster ‘Subtle’. Within a remarkably short space of time producing, Amelia has now solidified herself as one of the most exciting upcoming producers in her scene. Her first ever release, an edit of Tove Lo’s - ‘Stay High’, has already garnered over 50k streams, whilst also being premiered on BBC Radio One. Off the back of this, she has been approached by some very highly-regarded labels for future releases.
Kamma
Bold, joyful and ever-curious, DJ and producer Kamma's creative world is fueled by her sharp intuition and a solid musical foundation. She draws inspiration from her roots as an Amsterdam native, her Chinese-Indonesian heritage and a deep familial connection with club culture. Kamma’s parents were professional DJs in the Dutch capital's club circuit in the 80s and 90s, and she grew up amongst their 30,000 jazz, funk, disco and house record collection. Kamma's musical education continued at the iconic Trouw, where DJs mixed straightforward house and techno with rarer cuts from virtually every genre. These influences formed the blueprint for the experimentation Kamma explores in her own sets, moving from warm uplifting house into trippy, percussive techno and landing on all manner of euphoric sounds along the way. Ever loyal to her Eastside roots, Kamma co-created Amsterdam's first high fidelity listening bar Doka, alongside frequent collaborator Masalo. The duo also runs the Brighter Days event and mix series, which celebrates an open-minded dance floor approach and platforms the local community as well as legendary guests from further afield. In 2023 Kamma & Masalo released a Brighter Days compilation on Rush Hour, featuring obscurities, previously unreleased music from upcoming talent, as well as their own K&M edits. Kamma has leant her sensitivity and keen ear to solo productions too, a natural progression from practising piano and jamming on a Casio synthesiser as a child. Her debut single, ‘Snow In April’, which featured on Antal’s Rainbow Disco Club compilation, weaves abstracted electronics and ambient through transfixing loops of downtempo synths. Now Kamma’s productions are changing gears – with club-focused tracks on the horizon in 2024 and 2025. Her performances are set to follow suit, leaning more heavily into an electronic aesthetic whilst remaining true to her rock solid artistic foundation.
Marie Montexier
Her DJ sets are a seamless blend of thoughtful selection and skilled execution, effortlessly bridging the past and present. With vinyl as her medium, she blends hypnotic rave classics, modern club rhythms, and intricate experimental beats into cohesive narratives that captivate both the body and the mind. Each transition, cut, and spinback is a precise expression of her skill and intuition, guiding the flow of the dancefloor effortlessly. Her reputation precedes her, with performances in some of the world’s most revered spaces. From the iconic walls of Berghain, Blitz Music Club and Fabric to festivals like DGTL Amsterdam, Lente Kabinet, Love International, Butik, Awakenings and Waterworks, Marie’s presence elevates every stage she graces. She expanded her creative vision with the founding of Paryìa, a label that embodies a forward-thinking ethos. Paryìa thrives on bold, genre-defying sounds. Marie Montexier is a rare voice in today’s musical landscape, one whose approach is rooted in elegance, precision, and a deep reverence for the art of DJing. Through her performances and her label, she offers not just music, but an enduring statement on the power and possibilities of sound.
Masalo
An integral part of the Amsterdam scene, Masalo’s abundant creativity blends sophistication with a solid dose of rebelliousness. His sets shift effortlessly between house, techno, hi-NRG, and disco, while incorporating his own tracks and gems from decades of digging. Formative years at Amsterdam institutions like Trouw and Paradiso placed Masalo in the thick of the city’s underground dance community. He cites his family as an even earlier inspiration: jam sessions and a passion for analog machines from his father, a love of dancing and cultural influences from his Japanese mother, and hip-hop and turntablism courtesy of his brother. Extending the family feeling, Masalo has continued to build community through the Brighter Days event and compilation series he runs alongside his longtime musical partner Kamma. A prolific producer, 2017 saw Masalo’s first official release; a remix of Bassekou Kouyate’s Jama Ko, turning the Malian soul ballad into a hypnotically energetic house tune. He then joined the illustrious ranks at Rush Hour – a label and crew that has been integral to his creative journey – releasing his debut EP ‘New Dance’ in 2019, followed by collaborations with Soichi Terada, Jamie 3:26, and Palms Trax. His status as a sure-fire tastemaker goes beyond the official catalog, with unreleased edits like his Acid Dream version of Oliver N’Goma’s ‘Lina’ and a rework of Prince’s ‘Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic’ becoming sought-after club anthems. The next evolution of his artistry takes the shape of a live show, which he will debut on Dekmantel’s formidable main stage this year. The live set delves into the more electronic spectrum of his signature sound — a high-octane journey of lush synths, hard-hitting drum patterns, and euphoric arpeggio basslines, blending new material with nods to his beloved classics. His set-up is called The Trinity — a custom-made rig, designed and built in collaboration with new school architects. Through a dedicated process of building, programming, and mastering The Trinity, Masalo improvises in conversation with the crowd, ensuring no two performances sound exactly the same. Studio renditions of several tracks on The Trinity will be released by Rush Hour, Safe Trip, and Dekmantel in late 2024. Get in touch: chiara@octopus-agents.com
