Jepe
From the vibrant shores of Portugal to the pulsating heart of Berlin, Jepe, born João Silva, has carved out a unique and captivating presence in the global electronic music scene. Known for his sleek DJ sets and cutting-edge productions, Jepe is a name that resonates with both industry veterans and new generations of electronic music enthusiasts. Jepe's musical journey began in Aveiro, a coastal town near Porto, where he was drawn to the rhythmic energy of the ocean. His passion for music ignited early, leading him to his first radio show at just 16, and by 19, he was already commanding the decks at one of the biggest clubs in his hometown. His early rise to prominence foreshadowed the impactful career that was to come. As one half of the celebrated duo Johnwaynes, Jepe made waves with releases on prestigious labels like Mulemusiq, Compost Records, Get Physical, and Cecille. The duo's innovative approach left an indelible mark on the scene, but in 2013, Jepe embarked on a solo path, a decision that has since catapulted him to new heights. Now, with an impressive solo discography spanning top labels such as Diynamic, Sum Over Histories, Moodmusic, Multinotes, Isolate, and Engraved Ltd, Jepe is a dynamic force in the electronic world. His sophisticated sound—marked by deep grooves, atmospheric layers, and a mastery of both analog warmth and digital precision—has earned him spots on major electronic playlists and secured his place as a staple in the underground club circuit. As the founder of the rising label Eastern Standard, Jepe is not only a pioneering artist but also a visionary curator, pushing forward the boundaries of electronic music. His relentless creativity extends beyond the decks; as a skilled mix engineer at Berlin’s renowned Blackhead Studios, Jepe shapes sound with technical prowess, ensuring that his—and others'—music reaches listeners with unparalleled clarity and depth. Jepe’s trajectory shows no signs of slowing down. His dedication to evolving the electronic music landscape, both as a producer and label head, positions him as one of the most promising and influential figures in today’s scene. His story is one of passion, persistence, and an unshakable drive to bring his sonic vision to audiences worldwide.

SUCHI
Tracing a lineage from her Indian and Norwegian heritage through to formative raving experiences in Oslo, London and New York, SUCHI now finds herself embodying a unique ethos and sound that ambitiously encompasses all of her composite influences. It's a rare talent, born from a keen sense of community, that infuses into all of her varied work within dance music; from her curation of the SUCHI SELECTS compilation for New Delhi's boxout.fm, showcasing forward-thinking South Asian producers, to her celebrated DJ sets and critically acclaimed productions. In 2025, SUCHI launched her own imprint Ikke Sant (Norwegian for "isn't that right?"). The debut release, her Sub Cut EP, delivers three tracks of psychedelic, hypnotic club music where familiar patterns come unstuck with alien textures and dissonant sounds. The title track struts with mischievous energy, a roller amongst throbbing didgeridoo patterns and circular basslines. Every Pan Has A Lid delivers psy-eyed hypnosis with shuffling percussion and processed vocals, while Propeller digs deepest with celestial arpeggios over charged low-end. The release has garnered early support from Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, Midland, Pariah, Or:la, Ciel, Florentino, DJ JM, Peder Mannerfelt, HAAi, and Bradley Zero, cementing SUCHI's vision for the label as a home for genre-blurring club music. Her tracks mark her artistic high point; kinetically bouncing around polyrhythms and flighted melodies, situated within a modern house framework and buoyant by weighty low ends. Her breakout EP 'Birdy Bell' for Ghostly International's Spectral Sound sub-label highlighted this best, a 4-track knockout of modern house groove wrapped in prog sensibilities that included a remix from Nick León and was touted as one of 2023's standout releases by Resident Advisor and Mixmag. Ghungroo, her debut EP for the seminal !K7 features a rework from Sam Goku and was included in April's best new music by RA. This EP further extrapolates on her burgeoning talent while finessing her voice, an EP of undeniably euphoric and psychedelic dance music. SUCHI's approach to club music has helped her become a fixture in clubs around the world. Noted appearances at Fabric, Phonox, Warehouse Project, Glastonbury, By:Larm, Sonar Festival, Waterworks, Magnetic Fields and ADE, two landmark broadcasts for Boiler Room (alongside an India tour with Parris and Nikki Nair for the platform), an Australian tour supporting Jon Hopkins, while also recorded notable mixes for DJ Mag, NTS Radio, BBC Radio 6 and HÖR. Her output across all her impressively varied disciplines is vast, but shepherded with SUCHI's inimitable touch that harnesses her unique voice within dance music to shed a light on the global potential in both community and sound while offering a window into her talent as a music maker.
