DJ Westfa
DJ Westfa is a Black queer DJ and cultural curator whose deep, soulful sets have become a staple in Berlin and Amsterdam’s night life. With roots in Suriname, Westfa channels a spiritual connection to music, weaving house, tribal rhythms, percussion, and deeper journeys into performances that are as emotionally resonant as they are rhythmically compelling. Over a decade ago, Westfa founded Our Society in Amsterdam—a community-driven event series that evolved into a platform for soulful gatherings and cultural exchange. Through Our Society, he has booked legendary artists like Theo Parrish, Moodymann, and Robert Owens, while also spotlighting emerging talent. The project has since expanded into fundraisers, panels and Our Society Radio on Refuge Worldwide, where Westfa hosts intimate conversations with guests about mental health, creativity, and personal growth, all soundtracked by music that has shaped their lives. As a resident DJ at Refuge Worldwide and a frequent performer at venues in Amsterdam and Berlin, Westfa brings a deeply personal energy to the booth. Known for his emotionally charged and rhythmically sets, Westfa has brought his sound to some of Europe’s most respected dance floors, including Badaboum, RAUM, Tresor, OHM, Shelter, Resident Advisor, Melt Festival and Is Burning - to name a few. His sets are more than just mixing tracks—they are acts of cultural storytelling and healing. Through rhythm, soul, and love, DJ Westfa continues to honor and elevate the Black queer roots of dance music while building inclusive spaces for future generations.

Sarah Farina
... And what you’ll hear from Sarah Farina’s sets and music productions are seamlessly blended bass-heavy frequencies and futuristic beats with fearless forays through the hardcore continuum and beyond. It’s inclusive, forward-thinking and unrestrained. It’s a genre-rejecting style that she’s named RainbowBass. Led by the early releases of Missy Elliott, Aphex Twin & J Dilla into the dark clubs of Berlin. She hosts and curates the interdisciplinary Berlin event series „Emergent Bass“ with her friends, which focuses on the historical awareness of cultural contexts of music and celebrates and uplifts the Afro-diasporic influences in underground club culture. She’s vocal about the issues of current club culture and runs the project „Transmission“ with Dr. Kerstin Meißner, which aims to make the political relevance and history of international sound, club and rave culture audible and visible. She has been teaching and hosting DJ workshops in Rwanda, Uganda, Alexandria, Detroit & many other places, always with the focus on cultivating joy within her workshops and showing that music, djing and club culture can be so much more than just producing or consuming it. Sarah Farina is recognized and revered by the best of her bass music contemporaries, with connections to crews worldwide including Underground Resistance, Teklife, Hyperdub, Deep Medi, Buraka Som Sistema, Modeselektor and Exit Records. Capable of holding her own in line-ups alongside artists as diverse as DJ Rashad, DJ Storm, Laurent Garnier, Kode9, François K and Lady Leshurr, her sets unite the dance-floor, equally impressive to industry insiders and those who just want to dance. A listen to any of her three acclaimed Boiler Room sets will demonstrate why she’s captured the rapt attention of tastemakers and influencers the whole world over. A DJ with tighter-than-a-drum mixes and flawless selections is hard to find. You just found one.
