About this event

İÇ İÇE means “intertwined” or “interwoven” in Turkish. It is Germany’s first and only festival dedicated to new Anatolian music from diverse perspectives.

Anatolia has long been a meeting place of many cultures and musical traditions. Since at least the 1960s, these influences have continued to evolve in Germany, shaping everyday life and nightlife alike — from underground scenes to pop culture. İÇ İÇE focuses on how artists draw from the cultural pieces of their identities and reinterpret them in personal ways. By doing so, they find their own voices and create space for themselves within the societies they live in. This exchange is at the heart of the festival’s multilingual and many-voiced program.

Lineup

Muskila

Muskila, an electronic artist based in Copenhagen, has gained recognition for his distinctive production approach, characterized by a unique blend of rhythmic elements and percussions. His style encompasses high-energy rhythms that draw inspiration from genres such as contemporary club music over over north-kurdish timbres. Beyond his musical endeavors, Muskila is actively involved in promoting inclusivity within the club and arts scene, co-founding the club night, Bukhar, and contributing to Fragment Radio, a platform dedicated to amplifying BIPOC voice

Nene H

Nene H is an artist in constant motion. Shaped by her Turkish-Azerbaijani heritage, a conservatory education in classical piano, and an enduring infatuation with the emotional complexity of sound, her music is an evolving force tethered to both instinct and precision. Whether in the club or on stage, Nene H’s output unravels, reforms, and leaves a mark that’s hard to name but impossible to forget. After a period of intense self-inquiry, 2025 signals a sharp pivot for Nene H. A chapter defined by a hyper-focussed refining of sound, while retaining her signature elasticity. Her newest work doesn’t simplify; it distills, honing the emotional and rhythmic tensions that have always driven her sound. On stage, that focus splinters into immersive, shape-shifting performances. From her monumental 8-hour live improvisation at STOOR to her choral collaborations for CTM with The National Choir of Georgia, and Dekmantel with the Dutch Opera, Nene H continues to push the limits of form, without losing sight of feeling. Rooted in Berlin for over a decade, she has become a vital presence in the city’s queer underground not only as an artist, but as a cultural amplifier, championing SWANA, Muslim, and femme perspectives in spaces where they’ve long been overlooked. As a producer, her catalog spans labels such as Standard Deviation, Intrepid Skin, Live from Earth, and Incienso, the latter releasing her starkly intimate debut album Ali علي. Her forthcoming second album, Second Skin, deepens her commitment to radical vulnerability: a sonic reckoning with identity, grief, and selfhood, written in the midst of six months of personal and emotional upheaval.

Unfug Abla

She was heavily influenced by not only her parents who love RnB and Hip Hop, but also by the omnipresence of the electronic UK sound in The Netherlands and the dutch club culture itself. Digging and selecting since she was a child, she grew up to provide musical curations that come from the heart.
From Jazz, Memphis Rap, Phonk to Jungle, Dubstep, Breakbeats, Uk Funky Garage and House, her love for different genres is broadly diversified. Meet her playing @ local spots, solo or with up and coming female collective
Bangerfabrique.
