HWXXNG (aka Jaeho Hwang) fuses experimental electronic soundscapes with traditional Korean instrumentation, blending industrial techno, bass-heavy club, post-club, and East Asian sonic textures into high-energy, immersive sets.
HWXXNG (aka Jaeho Hwang) is a Berlin/Seoul-based South Korean composer and DJ. His music draws heavily from the experimental club scene, where stuttering, dark beats meet harsh industrial sounds reminiscent of no-wave’s minimalist deconstruction. He uniquely integrates traditional Korean instruments like the Piri (bamboo flute) and the stringed Gayageum, reinterpreting these ancient sounds within a modern, avant-garde framework. Since releasing his debut EP on Chinabot in 2019, he has garnered attention from a wide range of platforms, including Boiler Room, 4:3 Boiler Room, NTS Radio, DJ Mag, BBC Radio 6 Music, The Wire, Nowness, Mixmag Korea, etc. In addition to being a member of the Chinabot label, he founded "Fragmented Service," a Seoul-based collective that represents the city's sub-club music scene, curating
events that feature international artists such as ZULI, ENDGAME, Dis Fig, etc. He has performed at a wide range of events in venues that serve as key hubs for the underground music scene.
Women-Antennas is an artistic duo formed by Agata Konarska and Agata Lankamer, active since 2021.
