About this event

HOME ROOTED lands at Ministry of Sound with one simple agenda: big tunes, bigger energy, zero standing still.

Lineup

Paisley Jensen

From London’s Studio 338 and Manchester’s Progress to Ibiza staples like Amnesia and Ushuaïa, she has graced the decks alongside some of the industry's biggest names, including Fisher, Groove Armada, Sonny Fodera, and Roger Sanchez. She holds a residency with one of electronic music's biggest brands, Defected, which has seen her perform in Dubai as well as at multiple UK festivals, whilst also securing residencies for the Masquerade by Claptone and Danny Howard's Nothing Else Matters. Known for her infectious energy and seamless mixing, Paisley creates a unique atmosphere that keeps dance floors packed from start to finish. With a sound that fuses 90s house, disco, and old-school Chicago grooves, she is a throwback to the golden years of house music.

Omari

Born in Manchester, England, Omari began his music journey through DJing. Being inspired by those he saw in venues across the city growing up such as Sankeys, Antwerp Mansion and Warehouse Project. Upon his return to his hometown he began to produce, and over the coming years honed his ears to a deep/minimal tech house sound that has resonated across the scene, awarding him with numerous Beatport chart positions and gigs across the globe. Omari takes heavy influence from garage, hip hop and disco, with his productions featuring tight, rolling percussion, deep basslines and groovy vocals. In the studio, Omari has quickly built a reputation for consistency and quality. Releases on Illustrate, Nexup, Front Left Recordings and MoodChild have become staples in minimal/deep tech sets. Alongside taking the charts by storm, his tracks have gained incredible support from industry leaders such as Marco Carola, Franky Rizardo, Jamie Jones, and with an incredible stack of unreleased tracks, make sure to keep your ears peeled for more. On the dance floor he is making even bigger moves. Having played at [UNVRS], Glastonbury and Fabric, along with huge UK festivals including Parklife, Secret Garden Party and All Points East, his sets have been taking dance floors by storm, and with upcoming shows at some of the biggest venues in the country, he is set to continue to break boundaries. With his incredible ear for tracks and a dangerous ability to control a crowd, there seems to be no stopping the force that this bright young artist has become. Omari is not just emerging — he’s building the foundations to become a leading figure in the UK Minimal/Deep Tech movement.

Daniella Font
