Initiated in 2013 by the Berlin scene with a feminist agenda led by Bettina Wackernagel and a collective of artists, the Heroines of Sound Festival highlights pioneers of electronic sound and provides an important impetus with current works ranging from contemporary art music to performance, sound art and avant-garde pop. Yoko Konishi: “Motus Umbra“ (2026, world premiere)
