Grow PRESENTS: CSGRV & DEMACQUE + SPECIAL GUEST RICK VAYO [LIVE]

CSGRV and Demacque are back at Grow for their fifth all-night session, this time bringing close friend Rick Vayo (Tapefeed) on the line-up for a special live set.
They’ve known Rick for years, sharing dancefloors, booths, studios, production sessions and a lot of music along the way. For this one, Rick is bringing something a little different to what you might know him for.
As one half of fabric residents Tapefeed, his music leans towards the heavier end of techno and club music. His solo live show opens up another side of what he does, pulling from deep house, Detroit, hip hop and trip hop sampling, with the Octatrack at the centre of it all. It’s groovier, brighter and a side of Rick’s music he doesn’t often get the chance to play out, so this is a really special occasion.
CSGRV and Demacque will bookend the live set, starting the night and taking it through to close. The pair have been friends and collecting digging music together since their teens. In this session they'll be digging into the deeper, dubby and groovier side of house and techno with soul and rhythm at the heart of it.
CSGRV is also the booker behind Grow’s music programme. Before Grow, he programmed and ran Superstition, Village Underground’s long-running in-house club series, where he was also a resident DJ. So this is some sort of reunion of friends.
