Louise Plus One

London-based DJ Louise Plus One has been collecting vinyl and DJing since the 90s. Louise plays a range of styles, including Acid House, Early Dutch/US/Belgian Techno, Breakbeat Hardcore, Jungle Techno, Jungle/DnB and a range of current upfront styles. Louise's humble beginnings in promoting events led to the successful ReRaveAll nights held in iconic London venues such as The Dungeons & Brixton Mass in London. In 2011, Louise and her partner DJ Hughesee formed Distant Planet along with some friends. Distant Planet has gone from strength to strength, promoting daytime and nighttime events, featuring old-skool and new-skool Jungle and Hardcore. Louise +1 has a solid history playing events including Rupture, PRSPCT, Singularity, Brighton Loves Jungle, An Experience Presents,, Sick Crew Berlin, Dissonance, Riverdance, Eco System, Calling the Hardcore, Elysium and Mungo’s Hifi. She has also been booked for festivals such as Bangface, Glastonbury Festival (Bloc 9, Brainwash), Outlook, Field Maneuvers , Frequency (Portugal), Ground Rules, Symmetry, We Out Here, Landed, Surplus, Balter, Norberg and Together, to name a few. Louise co-runs Distant Planet TV alongside DJ Hughesee on Youtube where you can catch live streams, interviews and sets from Distant Planet Parties.

Conscious of the history of the music she loves yet always looking to push things forward, she’s no newcomer and her involvement with drum and bass runs much deeper than just a hobby. Having worked for record distributers SRD as well as promoting her own regular club night, Rupture, she’s learnt from the ground up and built a solid foundation on which she continues to grow. The success of Rupture stands testament to Mantra’s hard work and commitment, and that of her partner Double O. Borne of a desire to take it back to basics, Rupture has gone from strength to strength with original lineups that combine the best new DJs alongside some of the underground’s leading lights. The night has built up over the past 8 years to form what is now recognized as London’s best underground dnb night. Ravers as far as the US and various parts of Europe have all made the pilgramage to Rupture at Corsica Studios. With previous guests including D-Bridge, Amit, Doc Scott, Icicle and Bailey, Rupture demonstrates the philosophy of it’s founders: to bring quality music straight from the soul. A dedicated and professional outlook has won Mantra the support of some of d & b’s most respected DJs, including Equinox, Loxy and Storm. Having established links with some exciting new producers, Mantra keeps her selection fresh with dubplate material from the likes of dBridge, Overlook, Pessimist, Gremlinz, Theory and Loxy plus others. A certified vinyl junkie, she’s also been known to draw deep from the crates and drop tracks that other DJs no longer dare to play Her productions have won her support from dBridge, Loxy, Storm and Flight amongst others. With collaborations underway with Gremlinz, Drum Cypha and her partner, Double O, Mantra’s productions are set to keep moving forward in 2018. Shirley Temper

Shirley Temper is dj and producer who has been a staple in the London Underground scene for the past few years.  The Das Booty and Jungyals and Gays Resident and producer has released on labels like Da Demolition Squadron, Donkline and Tete.Vide, for whom they are now a represented artist. Known for their flair with jungle-techno and booty bass, Shirley’s cheeky and fruity sound gets all the girlies and queers moving.  Their journey has seen them perform as far as Paris and Berlin and she’s supported artists like Pete Cannon, Samurai Breaks, Jerome Hill, Tim Reaper, 4AMKRU and Big Dope P. She’s also set to make her boomtown and outlook debuts. Shirley Temper is no stranger to the fast lane of music and promises whacky basslines, booty shaking bangers and choppy breaks to get any dancefloor shaking.

Born in NW London, Simms found his love for electronic music through his father, an avid drum n' bass fan. Naturally, Simms found the same love for music & began to explore this passion through DJing in 2021, followed by music production in 2023. While his sound is focused around jungle, Simms showcases a myriad of genres including juke, footwork, reggaeton, grime, jersey & happy hardcore. Simms takes musical inspiration from a number of sources, some of which include labels such as Good Looking Records, Metalheadz and Moving Shadow.

VXRGO

Starting her journey in 2022, VXRGO has proved time and time again why she’s a force to be reckoned with - one which earned her a spot on DJ Mag’s 2024 artists-to-watch. Her diverse taste in genres spans from Lovers Rock to Progressive Rock - a taste that is reflected in her love for Jungle/D&B, a genre that serves as a melting pot for various styles. Her love for raving ultimately sparked a passion for the art of DJing, and the rest is history. Since her inception, she has gone from strength to strength, gracing stages both nationally and internationally at the likes of Glastonbury, Boomtown, Outlook Origins, and Keep Hush, in renowned venues such as fabric, FOLD, Phonox and The Jazz Cafe, to name a few - all while shelling down at grassroots dances and festivals, and holding down a residency on Kool FM. VXGO’s work ethic does not stop here - in 2023, she released her debut track ‘It’s Not So Bad’, and in 2025, she released her debut EP ‘Borough Breaks’, which was followed by various singles on respected underground labels paired with BBC1Xtra/Radio 1 Dance plays, and a second EP released on SHERELLE and Naina’s Hooversound Recordings. These accolades, along with VXRGO’s down-to-earth energy and approach to music, have earned respect and support from heavyweight torchbearers in the scene, such as the EQ50/Rupture crews, Tim Reaper, DJ Ron, DJ Stretch, and more.

With an affinity for all forms of Black Dance Music, CC sets contain generous helpings of Broken Beat, House and their spiritual roots in Jazz, Funk & Soul. CC founded plentyppl in 2024 to house the care-free enjoyment of Black Dance Music which has since welcomed DJs and crews such as Afronaut (Bugz in the Attic), Eves'Drop Collective & REO. Having started DJing at community-centred parties hosted by Sable Studios (fka Sable Radio), CasuallyClued has appeared on NTS, Balamii & Voices Radio stations and various dances across the country such as Cosmic Slop (Leeds), Stardust (London) and Circles (London).
