Groove & Bass returns July 23 to 27, 2026 for our biggest celebration yet. Gates open at 12 PM on Thursday and Friday, with early entry available Thursday at noon for those who want to set up camp and grab the best spots before the crowd arrives. Music will continue until Monday evening at 6 PM, creating a full weekend of unforgettable experiences.

The festival takes place on 50 acres of forest land in Bryson, QC, near the Ontario border. Expect spectacular visual arts and installations throughout the site, along with an in-ground pool stage, a nearby river with a sandy beach for swimming, and dozens of local and international artists spanning diverse electronic music genres.

Guests can enjoy incredible circus performances, food vendors, an artisan market, yoga sessions, and unique workshops. Free tent camping is included, with very limited paid RV and car camping spots available. Facilities include toilets, showers, unlimited drinking water, a harm reduction center, professional medics, and security teams to ensure a safe environment.

John '00' Fleming

“A national treasure of trance music” Pete Tong BBC Radio 1 (Essential mix) “One of the Pioneers of the electronic dance music scene” The daily Telegraph Newspaper John 00 Fleming is an artist who has achieved international success in a career spanning over 20 years without dishonouring his musical essence or fans. With over 10 million album sales and 30 produced mix compilations, John’s a proven musical pioneer whose essence lies in what his fans call, ‘the J00F sound’. The J00F sound is as unpretentious as the artist, and is best described as deep and textured progressively edged trance, in an electronic dance music style that is an antithesis to what is normally produced within the genre. In an industry rife in self worship and mirror gazing, John is characterised by a passion and ability to connect audiences by injecting his unique underground musical style, and not his ego, into the mainstream vein. This connection has manifested in ten mix compilations and five singles in the UK Top 40 charts on iconic labels: Virgin, EMI and Warner Music. It has also seen him headline major events worldwide, seeing in over 10,000 appearances at the likes of Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Ministry of Sound and Global Gathering, through to Holland’s Dance Valley, Serbia’s Exit Festival, Brazil’s Exxxperience, Australia’s Future music festivals, Belgium’s Tomorrowland, and the U.S.A’s Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). John’s renown lies in his desire to give back to his fans. His much lauded 2010 BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix has spawned J00F Editions, an international tour which innovatively refocuses the music onto the club and its clubbers. J00F Editions resurrects the scene of old, and reintroduces the clubbing experience to extended sets, new sounds and new artists to deliver a true musical journey devoid of fluff and predictive cliché that has quickly gained international respect, residencies and support from other leading figures such as Dave Seaman, Avalon, Passion and Ministry of sound. JOOF Editions has been a huge success. John’s record label, J00F Recordings, and his monthly radio show, Global Trance Grooves, broadcast on iTunes, Ministry of Sound radio and DI. FM provides John another path to walk his own line. Here, he promotes rising stars in addition to giving over four million subscribed fans the latest in J00F’s inimitable sounds. John is also one of a select few endorsed by Pioneer. As the industry heavyweights inside every DJ booth, John provides subject matter expertise and consultancy in a partnership which ensures the upward evolution of the electronic music world’s tools of the trade. John’s esteem within the industry has garnered respect from electronica luminaries like Jean Michael Jarre and Simple Minds, and while humbly accepting peer endorsement he continues to let his production skills do the talking. Being humble John has never bragged the fact he writes music scores for the TV and movie world having music all over; BBC, NBC, Warner bros, Sony, ABC, Fax and more. Often being disgruntled with the commercial intrusion into the electronic John saved his writing skills for the media word, until recently where he has released an onslaught of chart topping releases, including his award winning debut album ‘Nine lives’ in 2011. John 00 Fleming is a performer who adroitly crafts something musically organic from the inorganic, artfully opening your senses into a genre far more pervasive than you currently know. Challenge yourself, and get intelligently immersed, inside his adventurous odysseys.

Nick Curly

Nick Curly has now been defining the sound of the underground for ten whole years. The varied and vital artist has established a number of labels in that time, including the era-defining Cecille Records. Currently he is focused on 8Bit, which continues to grow from strength to strength, as an outlet for fresh house and tech. 2017, then, is sure to be another landmark year. By now, Curly has a refined signature sound that keeps people dancing all over the world. His productions continue to come on esteemed labels like Truesoul, Drumcode and Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep in Sound, and he remains an in-demand remixer – recent work taking in Pan Pot’s Second State and for the legendary duo Stephane K and John Creamer, with an appearance due on 'Saved' for hot newcomer Emanuel Satie slated for spring. His DJ schedule takes in hundreds of gigs each year, all over the world, with year on year growth showing no signs of slowing down. 2016 was a superb year, yet 2017 already includes confirmed appearances at Heart Miami, Ministry of Sound, TimeWarp Mannheim, Crobar Buenos Aires, Warung Beach Club and festival plays at Hideout, Sonus, Eastern Electrics, and many more. More recently Nick has been heading up his own party brand, Trust. Now a few years old, it continues to go from strength to strength and really brings something fresh to each city it lands in. As well as a bi-annual residency at Watergate in Berlin, Trust host parties at high profile places like Sonus Festival and BPM, always with a tasteful selection of headliners who fit in with Nick’s unique vision for the party. The future is as bright as the past for this DJ, producer, party curator and A&R. After great releases in 2016 that roamed from house to techno and back again, always with an assured sense of quality, Nick has a new EP on his own 8Bit due in April, with new records lined-up every six to eight weeks from the German production machine. 2017 is lining up to be another record breaker for this essential pillar of the underground dance scene.

Sam Binga

Something’s happening to the faster side of dance music. Maybe it’s the hyperactive influence of juke’s chopped-up 808s, the embrace of dubstep’s half-time flow at a higher tempo or perhaps it’s simply the ongoing evolution of the mutation started by dBridge and the Autonomic podcasts. Whatever the origin, that spectrum of music between 160 and 170bpm is sounding utterly vital once again. Sam Binga has placed himself firmly at the centre of this new wave, with releases on some of dance music’s most respected underground labels – 50 Weapons, Exit and Critical. His sound spans the anthemic rowdiness of tracks like ‘AYO’ and ‘Lef Dem’, to the deeper explorations of his collaborations with Om Unit, and has attracted the attention of artists such as Zed Bias and CHVRCHES – who have both hit him up for remix work – and Kode9, who featured his tune ’11th’ with Addison Groove on his critically acclaimed Rinse CD.
