This August, UTE lands at FOLD for the very first time, bringing their progressive psychedelia and ethereal techno to our dance floor at long last.

When the world offers little to you, the only solution is to build a new one. And that’s exactly what UTE did.

Frustrated, uninspired and unsatisfied by Oslo’s traditional clubbing structure, the collective ventured away from the city completely and out into Norway’s wilderness. Rules and judgement lost their meaning, whilst the towering trees of the forest offered the kind of shelter the city had failed to provide. A space to create was finally made possible and from it, a new sound emerged.

Wooded psychedelia, rolling rhythms and cathartic melodies combine into what can only be described as a dazzling euphoria. Rooted in the elements, yet set firmly in the future, the label has shown the world what can be created when given the space to flourish. We can’t wait for you to experience their world.
