Faded: OPEN DECKS (Back2Back special)

Lab.Club & The Faded Community will be hosting monthly open decks in the heart of Shoreditch. THIS EDITION IS THE B2B SPECIAL

Tickets are £1.50+ RA fees which is a donation to help us run the costs of hosting

Want to test your skills against the other DJs and experience the Back2Back culture?
This is an open deck event with a twist: DJs sign up on the night to get randomly paired in a 20-minute Back2Back set.

[HOW IT WORKS]
<> All attendees must get a free ticket (DJ or just dancing)
<> Bring ID to be checked by security
<> Sign up for a DJ slot on arrival using the QR code
<> DJs are randomly paired by the host
<> Pairings are made with genre compatibility in mind
<> Each duo plays 20 minutes, transitioning after 2 songs each
<> BYO your own drinks + we have some provided by Jubel Beers

Genre compatibility doesn’t mean identical styles, blending different sounds is encouraged. However, to ensure a strong flow and a great experience for both DJs and the crowd, certain heavier or more niche genres won’t be paired together (for example, hard techno with Afro house).

OPEN MEANS OPEN: We welcome anything from house, techno, breaks, electro, minimal, garage and beyond. It all depends on who signs up so tell your mates!

Anyone, whether you're a seasoned selector or a bedroom DJ ready to play out. Or you don't have to DJ to attend, come to dance, discover new music and connect.
This night is about community, creativity and shared energy behind the decks.

<> We can only accept digital DJ's who have a USB formatted correctly for Pioneer
